Yep!  Same here - just a hang up.  I am guessing it is DTE trying to install a smart meter

I've turned the answering machine off. These ignorant calls are all we every receive on our land line anymore. Anyone who wants to speak to us just calls us on our cell numbers. Really don't these people have anything constructive to do? I think sooner or later they would want to get out and make an honest living. Why wont the FCC do anything about them? I have registered on the "Do not call list", but for what reason. The FCC is just as bad, they dont do a thing to stop them, I simply get no response what so ever!!

The SCAMMERS have changed their number. Have been getting calls from 313-307-4195 for a month and now it is 313-307-4196. I blocked the first number so it only rings once and hangs up. Now I will be adding the new number too. I just wish my phone would not even ring when I block numbers.

This was an interactive recording that claimed I might be eligible for some vacation package (so it sounded). I immediately hung up.

I get this no 313.307.4196 &  DETROITZN4 MI calls on my cell and landline. My cell blocked it and said there was no such prefix &  it was a spoofer. Now that I know it is a telemarketer I guess I'll block on landline too.

Some guy called my cell while at work, was a smooth talker, but mile a minute. Wasn't too difficult to figure out this wasn't going anywhere, so I just put the phone down, and continued to do other things. I could hear the knucklehead babbling on, with brief pauses waiting for a response. After about 2 minutes the dipstick finally caught on and hung up.

Called my cell phone. I was in my new vehicle waiting for my Sirius XM radio to activate, so I could sit for awhile doing something else constructive. Very tricky interactive recordings. Started with, "This is the Customer Service Department and we want to thank you for your business."  Offered a vacation package to Orlando including Disney tickets. If I asked a question, no person would come on, but the machine would say, "Sorry, I did not get that" and then continue with the offer from where it left off. I did this twice, first asking for the name of the company and then asking where would I stay in Orlando.  The recording finally got to asking if I had a credit card. I said, "I want to talk to a representative." The machine then said, "I am sorry that you are not interested, sorry for bothering you, good bye." I never spoke to a human.
