Answered call. Robo-call stated it is about a warranty on a car.

just had a call that didn't go to voicemail and now I see why call blocker is getting full and I am on the no call list "what's up with dat"

Called my cell phone today........ and after getting and blocking a car warranty call yesterday and seeing the above posts about this caller....I'm guessing that is what it's all about.  Blocking this number, too.  Caller ID says Detroit MI.  I have a feeling that these telemarketers got my number from a person that contacted me about an ad I had placed, as they wanted my number but never followed thru with needing info on what I was advertising.  Scammers.  Irritating.

Just received a call from this unrecognized number. Didn't answer.  They left no voicemail. Will block.

Caller ID says VOIP Caller. I knew it was spam, but answered out of curiosity, which I rarely do.
Robo caller on BS car warranty. Number is now blocked

Called saying my car warranty was about to expire. When I told them I didn't own a car because I was assigned a company car, the guy didn't know what to say. I asked him how he got my number because I was on the National do not call list, he stated it was through my warranty company. I told him to lose my number and don't call back. He stated that he would take my number off their list.

Got a call from 313-635-0114.  My screen said VOIP number.  I didn't answer it.  No voice message left.

Got a call to our business saying that our Google Business page would be marked as "Closed" unless we confirmed our business. You had to push  "1" to speak with a representative. When the rep answered I notified him that I would be recording the call. I asked him to verify that he was calling with Google. He then said that he worked for Cavani who works through / for Google. I again asked him, "so you are working on behalf of Google?". He replied, "we are not affiliated with Google, we work through / for them".
I told him that his message was misleading, the recording prior to speaking with him said that it was Google and that I had to speak with him or my business would be flagged as closed. He then hung up on me.
I followed up by calling Google Customer Service. They checked my business page and said that everything was good and would not be flagged as closed. They said that it was a marketing scam and to block any future calls from the number. They will be following up with reporting it.

I have gotten this call frequently on home phone which I blocked.  Now they've called my cell.  I did NOT answer. Looking up on Google is when I realized it's the same about car warranty.  Due to illness I haven't owned a car for 9 yrs.  I'm on do not call list but it doesn't stop them.

Robo-call stated it is about a warranty on a car. More ... Calls, More Scams! Phishing ... using pirated, legitimate telephone numbers!

I'm not taking issue with you personally, but the DNC Should Be A Call Blocker of sorts (and Yes I know they never read these)

The "DNC" is just a list of numbers.
How is it supposed to be a call blocker?
It's the PRIVATE phone companies that would have to do the call-blocking, and how are they supposed to know which calls are to be blocked?
