called twice, left no message

called and said they are convergence company

did you ever find out who this company is?

Their name is "Convergent Outsourcing, Inc." and they are a debt collector, especially for Capitol One credit cards, but they have other accounts as well.

received call on house phone. Did not recognize the number. Did not answer. Caller id said 'none' as the caller.

HELP!!!

They call and don't leave message.  Called back from a blocked number and asked who they were.  They are "Convergent Outsourcing Inc.", and they are collectors of old debts.

called me in the evening, i did not answer, number is now blocked.

Just called my work with a name I've never heard of...

This number just called the office I work for. When I answered, there was music playing so I hung up. CID said Convergent Res, whatever that is.

Just answered a call from this number at the office I work for & heard a recorded voice say "Press 4" then music played. I waited to see if anyone would come on the line but after maybe 10 seconds it hung up. I see I posted last week about this same number.

Calling to the point of harassment

This number calls, a few times a week, at all different times & leaves no message...I'm sick of it, why doesn't being on the Do Not Call List work.

Try to understand this:

The Do Not Call list works as intended!
LEGITIMATE telemarketers obey the Do Not Call regulations

So, if you got a call from a supposed telemarketer, and if you are registered on the DNC list, what does that tell you?

Hint:
Can you spell "scammer"?

Hint #2 (if you need it)
Can you spell "criminal"?

What else should you know?

• The DNC List is NOT a call blocker!  It is not a magic switch that intercepts calls to your phones!
• Criminals habitually and repeatedly disobey laws.

If you want to reduce calls from scammers, or prevent second calls from these criminals, get a real call blocker.  Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.

Calls every day leaves no message, number blocked, will wait for the new number to pop up.

Keep calling

Caller ID says Convergent. The person on the phone would not confirm or deny. Says he is looking for a Mike. No one here by that name. Then he asked for a Keith. NOPE strike 2. No one by that name either. My landline phone has been at this address for more than 50 years. This sure sounded like a collection call.
