This is Chase Bank

Who evere it is the call my cell and do not leave a message

I get 3 or more calls a day from this number. They never leave a message. I do not have a Chase account and never have. Called them back and they asked for my number. Did not give it. Ridiculous.

They say that it is Chase Bank.  I bank with Chase, but am not necessarily comfortable when they call me and then ask me for my account number...uh....nah...I'll pass.

Scam do not answer or give them any info!

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message

I received a call from this number today, I called them back and it auto answered with an abysmal sounding auto message (not something that Chase would not have - they make sure their brand is properly represented.) Once I did speak to a person, they asked for my bank account number or my social security number. This is a huge red flag!  Chase will never ask you for your full social or your full bank account number.

I also went to my local Chase branch and confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my accounts. I told them what was going on and they agreed that it was most likely a phishing attempt. They also confirmed that they would never ask my my social or account number (Maybe the last four of the social). In addition they told me they would only call from an 800 number.

I got a call I called back I suggested that this is a fraud they said no and talk to a supervisor he told me call with my personal banker I'm confused

I had a missed call from this number, I called it back.  It said it was Chase Bank and the call would be recorded while I was waiting to talk to a live person.  A girl came on the line, gave me her name "January" and an ID No. U6856, first question out of her mouth was, what is your social security number.  I told her I wasn't giving her my social security number because I had no idea why she was calling.  She said they were a recovery service for Chase Bank and they deal with Chase account that have had to been charged off or are currently overdrawn.  I told her thanks, but I have never had an account with Chase Bank.  She apologized and said someone must have dialed an incorrect number and thanked me for banking with Chase.  Definitely do not have a good feeling about this one.

Scam. I don't even have chase account. Stupid people.

I understand that feeling. A number of years ago I was dealing with calls from debt collectors looking for somebody I never heard of. I learned that it is not uncommon for them to call outdated numbers and harass innocent people and getting them to stop is next to impossible.

It could be a debt collector using outdated information.

This is a verified number for JP Morgan Chase collections.

Got a call at 7:30pm, didn't answer, no message left....rule of thumb, if I do not recognize a number, I'm never answering

I just got a call from them now. Scammers ! Thank you for the heads up everyone !

Filed bankruptcy over 2 years ago. Definite scammer either using old debts or just phising. Do not answer this one.

This is NOT Chase bank! This is a horrible attempt at phising. Michigan based number. Immediately upon answering the phone, a woman with a heavy Spanish accent prompts me for my social security number. I said "I don't think so. It's not possible for me to have an account with Chase, because there are no Chase banks in the state I live in." -Click- Report and block this number!

Just got a call from the number didn't  pick up called back they say its Chase . Well i called Chase directly to the 866 number and guess what they never called me .....
