Multiple calls, never leave a message. Since I dont know anyone in Detroit they are blocked

Didn't answer, as caller ID said "Michigan".  They hung up before my answering machine picked up.  They also called on 4/8, I answered and they wanted to talk about Medicare.  I hung up.

Multiple calls. I never answer. Never leaves a message.

How do you block them? My crap phone doesn't have that option.

Consider buying  a new phone that can block calls,  They start around $40 or so and the number of blocks depends on the brand of phone.

It's advice and life group - they must be successful since their sales strategy is SO unique!

They repeatedly call but when we answer, there's a second or two and then they hang up.

Constant calls, almost daily to our land line in Grand Blanc, MI and they usually hang up before the machine answers but not always. I'm blocking the number from our line too.

Ya, sure they are.  Sales BS. Do not answer this one. Block it.

Calls from this number 2 to 3 times a day for the past week. Never a message.

I finally answered because I was so tired of them calling 3 to 4 times every day. When I picked up there was a hesitation before anyone spoke. Then a male asked what kind of insurance I had and I said it was not his business and he got belligerent so I hung up and blocked the number.

This company is trying to sell Medicare Insurance and annuities. They are persistent. They appear to be targeting people turning 65. Quote from their website, http://www.adviceandlife.com/: "Advice and Life Group provides true open architecture employee Retirement and Lifelong Income Plans." They are located in Florida, Nevada, and Tennessee.  Block them if you do not need insurance. Or, if you would like to annoy them back, call them at 888-669-5502, toll free. You can also call the local number, 313-989-0513, if it is not long distance for you. Have fun.

25 calls in the last month. Answer the call, no one there, call disconnects. Blocked the number so the call doesn't come through but I can still see when they call. No less than 2 calls per day.

Called -left no message. ID says Detroit MI.  I never answer any calls I don't recognize.  I am considering eventually having the land line removed due to the number of these types of calls.

My phone tells me how many times a number calls my phone in one day.  This one tipped the scales at 13!  And never left a message..  I figure I can have a second cell phone for $10 a month, and ditch the land line costing me $30.  Anyone I don't want to annoy, I give the second cell # to.

Receiving 2-3 calls per day for at least two weeks now. Three rings only (my answering machine does not pick up until after 4 rings). Never once left a message. The line called is a Verizon Home number - cell based but not a cell phone per se.

I too was getting called by this number frequently.  I finally got the call on the 3rd ring before they hung up.  They asked to speak to Harry.  I told them Harry passed away in June (truth).  He apologized, I asked who was calling & he politely apologized for my loss, gave his name and company and said he would take "Harry's" name off the calling list.  FYI, one method to get them to quit calling.
