Received a call around 6AM!

Received a call, but the line hung up.  I rang back twice to be told the number was no longer in service both times.

Received a call, the woman said "Sorry, wrong number" and immediately hung up. I called back to be told that the number was disconnected. Annoying as it was 6:30am!

While talking on the phone my boyfriend recieved a beep and came back saying it was some woman saying "sorry wrong number" then imedietly hanging up. I said okay and continued talking when no less then a minuet later my phone beeped. the same thing she said sorry wrong number then hung up. Leaving the two of us confused and while trying to call back twice it said the number was no longer in service.

I was talking to my fiance over the phone...3:30 in the morning...I recieved the call...the woman said "sorry, wrong number" and hung up...a few seconds later, my fiance got the exact same call.  I tried calling back but the line was disconnected...

This happend to my wife and me, she recieved this calls at 5am, first on her cell , a woman just said wrong number and hung up, 2 minutes later on our land line, same woman, the most bizzare thing is that I was in europe when this happen and the same day I recieved a call in my cell phone from the Netherland same woman, same number, and just said wron number...

I got a call on both of my lines mid-day (home and home office) from Missouri 314-209-7545.  I missed answering the first call.  The second one I answered.  It was an feminine sounding ethnic man's voice and he asked for me by name.  "can I speak to..."  When I said, "this is she", he started breathing heavy and would say, "hello, exhale, exhale, hello, exhale, exhale,..."  I hung up - annoyed and wondering what gives.  This sounded like a call center as there was voices in the background.

i got a call at 7:40am in Japan. the man said "Do you remember me?" I hung up and my boyfriend found this website. Was it a international phone call!? I was surprised.

i've got two phonecalls in two days, both late at night - and i don't even have an american phone number. i live in europe.

i got a call again. A man said "Sorry, wrong number" and immediately hung up.  it is in Japan here.

Got a call from this number at 3:36 am a woman asked for Jeremy. I said wrong number they hung up.Just a few minutes before that my room mate got a call from the same number on her cell. They just hung up when she answered.

Got a call from this number at 1:42am (in the middle) of the night!! Woke me up to answer but the caller just hung up and left no messages either.
Quite annoying!!

This happens to me too, 'Sorry wrong number,' within 30 min. each time I speak to my mother. She lives in SC, I live in Estonia, in the European Union. It's been happening for months! Who are these people? The St. Louis Police said they can't help either. I've had women and men calling me too!

Got this call on 2/25 at 2:25am (Maybe significant?). I didn't bother picking up. Reading this thread, it almost sounds like some kind of organized prank in order to get people into trouble by having their partners believe they are having an affair.

i got the same call to my home phone!  some girl said wrong number.  it was at midnight.  she also, within 5 minutes, called my husband in another country on his cell, and my cell in the states.  weird.

Hey... this is so weird. I live in Québec, Canada and I just received a call from this same number this morning at 9:00 am but listen, the woman didnt told me that it was a wrong number... She first asked me if the "woman of the house" was there and I said no but can I take the message... She said: Can I ask you something? Did you received some calls from the Philippines asking you autorisations to accept long distance fees... Surprised, it did happened (my mother received at least 3 phone calls 30 minutes ago from her aunt and nephew *she's filipina*. After two times where the line hung up when she says: YES I accept the phone... She finally got her family on the phone. So, I was really chocked by the fact that this lady on the phone knew that. I then told her: absolutely, we received those calls but how do you know that???? She answered me that she was working for a "Fraud telephone company" ("Verason" or "Berazon Fraud Agency" or whatever...) and that they received an ALERT from my house!?! Damn... wtf is that!!!? I mean I was so confused that I asked her again to tell me who she was then she repeated the same s**t... She was really nice on the phone when she explained who she was and said to me thank you before hanging up...

Is this a joke? Someone who has access to my telephone bill??? Can someone know what Im supposed to do???... STRANGE!
Im trying right now to talk to someone from my phone company...

My family receives these call on a nightly bases. I'm having my husband report it to Verizon phone company to block it. We also have been told previously by the phone company that people are calling phones and using that phone number to access calls over seas. You will be charged for the call or calls. It could be people wanting to place free calls, or as serious as terrorist accessing your phones. Please report these calls to your local phone companies and then follow-up. We need to stop these calls.
P.S. 314-209-7545 comes back to a St. Louis, Mo. Unknown, Phone Company Southwestern Bell found on reverse phone look-up.

I just posted on another site that I got a call from this number and (in my case at least) it was Verizon Business.  They were calling about the status of a business account my company has with verizon.  I've been working out a billing discrepancy with Verizon and have been talking with the same lady off and on for a few weeks.  She is professional, always says her name and leaves a callback number when she leaves me a Voice Mail.

But after reading all the other weirdness coming from this same number I'm thinking someone must be fooling Caller ID by misrepresenting that they're calling from this number.
