I did not answer this call and they hung up on my voicemail.

I did not answer this call and no message was left on answering machine.  I looked for this number on the internet and it is listed as the phone number for the residents of Glendale, MO to call to get local time and temperature info.  I don't think I know anyone from Glendale, MO and can't think of any reason the time & tempurature information phone number should be making outgoing calls to anywhere.

called on 5/9/08. No answer

I called this number and was greeted by a cheery male voice which identified  Michael Carter running for Lieutenant Governor of Missouri. He is a lawyer based in St.Peters, MO and seems to be using this ploy to avoid the DNC. I Googled his name which led to his Web page. Cute,hunh? I would not vote for him after reading his bio and after receiving his sneaky cell call.You may wish to visit his site, so Google him.

What's funny, is that he is advocating the abolishment of robo-calls, and yet his campaign is using them.  Something smells funny.  I bet it will turn out not to be authorized by his campaign.

Comes up at Time and Temp, but it really is a call to get you to support Michale Carter for Lt Gov in the state of Missouri. Good way to get around those of us who screen our calls for political come ons.

Michael Carter certainly has lost any credibility he had by using the beloved Time and Temp number.
