Political survey

Didn't answer; they didn't leave a message.  Caller ID says "Saint Louis MO".

They didn't answer, but waited about 15-20 seconds and then hung up on me.

Keeps calling over and over again. No one ever says anything. So tired of it.

Keeps calling. No voice or response.

Consistently calling. Asked for me by name, said yes. Then he said, "Ok, I will mark that down."

Just called and did not leave message. Yesterday, I answered. Silence, then hung up. Called ID said 'Unknown Name.'

Calls several times a day for 2 weeks, Never says anything if I answer and never leaves a message if I don't answer.

Harassing phone calls day and night and even Sunday's! It's telemarketing and pretty sure political.

They called me 7 times in the past 2 days. One last night at 8 pm CST.  I have a Ooma phone system that now allows me to block up to 1000 numbers so they are now blocked!  Good riddance.  Caller ID is "St. Louis Cell phone."

This phone number has been calling a million times on our home phone number for about two weeks or better, several times a day, every day.  They don't leave a message and it is the same things as the others have stated.  The caller ID will state Saint Louis or unknown - I am in Independence, Missouri.  I haven't answered it yet and we are on the registered do not call list...getting annoyed here!  There are two numbers they are using --314-325-1543 and 314-735-0642

I received a text message saying
"Hi Tasha, this is *******.  I work with  ********* ***** who has some nice things to say about you.  Our office has some immediate part time openings (2-6+ weeks) so we asked the team if they knew anybody they would recommend (which is how I got your number).  If your schedule is full you can ignore this and I apologize for intruding.  But if you want to learn more click the link below for the position description.  It's flexible around school/other jobs, the people are fun, and the pay is pretty solid.

Unwanted Text Messages

Forward unwanted text messages to 7726 so that your carrier will block them. Some carriers do not accept that code and if that is the case then contact your carrier about how to block unwanted text messages. Also, never, ever click on a link as it will probably install something nasty to your phone that you really will not want to deal with.

Job Scam:

How can you tell if this job offer is a scam?

1.  All communication is by e mail, text, or instant message, very rarely by phone conversation.
2.  There is no personal interview, or sometimes no interview at all, or they might want to do the interview by instant messenger or Skype.
3.  It is a work at home position many times because the office in your area is not built, rented, or established yet, or it is a pet sitting or home care job usually for a disabled child.
4.  The job is for an area that you are obviously not qualified for, or they want to immediately put you in a “managers” position.  The job requires you to sell something even though you have no experience, such as insurance or it requires you to sell something to other people and then recruit them to sell for you (multilevel marketing aka Ponzi scheme).
5.  You need a bank account to receive and deposit checks (money laundering), or you need to receive packages and resend them (illegal contraband).
6.  They will send you a check for an amount well over what you should be getting and tell you that you need to deposit the check and send the money through some way such as Western Union or Greendot money card to pay for something they should be paying for themselves.  Take the check and the envelope it came in to the post office and have them forward it to the postal inspectors.
7.  They will ask you to pay for something upfront, such as office supplies (which of course have to bought from their supplier), or in the case of acting or modeling, will tell you that you need to pay for "head shots", or other type pictures up front (again from their photographer) in order to be eligible.
8.  The pay and benefits are way beyond anything you would normally earn.

Called this morning and I did not answer. They did leave a voicemail stating that there was a warrant out for my arrest from the IRS and that I needed to call back. They did not state my name or anything about me and I have no issues with the IRS. Very annoying.
