This number called and said they were "Air Duct Cleaning", I asked if that was the name of their company and they said 'yes', then I asked where they were located and they said 'downtown St. Louis' and when I asked if I could call them back because I was genuinely interested in the service, they hung up.  Sounded like a call center in the background, but figured if they really were an air duct cleaning place, they would have wanted the business.

got the same call as elaine and i did the same thing except when i asked for a number to call back, she said she had another call and was putting me on hold but she really hung up. $59 for unlimited ducts and a  dryer vent cleaning AND a radon check is WAY too cheap of a price. sounded fishy to me for sure. a call back to the number got a voicemail that said "thank you for using the voice mail system...goodbye."

Called today Sunday 10AM left msg about furnace cleaning On NO CALL LIST so they should not be calling

Got a message on my voice mail wanting to clean my airducts. Also on the NO CALL LIST which means nothing to these scam artists.  My phone said the number was coming from fenton area.

Left another of MANY messages on my home phone. I keep reporting them to Missouri No-Call at the Atty General's office. I hope they get fined. BIG TIME!

Same as all the above comments.  Air ducts, recorded message, caller ID number goes to a voicemail system and I've been on the state and fed no call list since 2007.  Reverse lookup says the caller ID number is coming from Washington MO.

I got a call from this number today about the air duct cleaning.  I asked what is the name of the company and where are you located she said "Air Duct Cleaning" in Hazelwood MO I said ok let me check on something with your company, she said hold please, I have another call and then phone hung up on me.  Then I called the number back and got a voicemail that said "thank you for using the voice mail system...goodbye.   "FRAUD!!!

Exact same story here except I was told they were in Florissant.

I have been getting this call also. I went ahead this time and pressed #2 to be removed from their list. It said thank you and hung up. We'll see if that does anything or not. I guess I am going to have to pay AT&T for their number blocking service and start putting some of these numbers on that list.

I ignored the call because I didn't know that number. I later checked the voicemail message. Same as above.  It was an automated call regarding an offer for air duct cleaning.  I tried to call back to tell them to remove my number and received the same message "Thank you for using the voice mail system...goodbye.   I am also disgusted with the phone calls from companies when my number is on the No Call List. It is getting worse and worse every week.

The caller did not leave a message so I called back and got the message "Your call cannot be completed as dialed...."   Strange a "business" uses a phone number you can't call back.

This number calls me about once or twice a week (314-492-5898),  I'm asked to press either "1" or "2" I get no one.  One time they had my phone tied up for about 30-40 mins.  When I try to call them back I received some of the above messages at different times.  I too have had it and

Calling my phone . . .   I just turn on the fax machine.  They soon stop calling!

These phone calls are getting so annoying, i got this number calling me too, and it really made me angry, because when they called i was putting my contacts in my eyes and the phone rang and it was this freaking number, so now i just carry my phone around with me. I have had it with these companies.  They keep calling one time i answered and pressed 1 and someone just said hello and then hung up.  I am just so sick and tired of this.

I called the business owner at Air Clean Filter Svc in Maryland Heights, Missouri, 63043. He is a legitimate businessman who does not actually do residential "air duct cleaning" but he does do commercial filter cleaning. He is not at all connected to these robocalling phone spammers in Washington, MO who are merely collecting valid telephone numbers and trying to collect matching home addresses so that they can then sell them to whomever. Absolute scum of the earth! The telemarketers who work with this bandit company ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Unfortunately, for the homeowners who are constantly being called, there is absolutely no recourse. And for the legitimate businesses in Florissant, Hazelwood, and Maryland Heights, this bandit company in Washington, MO is the rotten apple that spoils the barrel.  

Can anyone ID this call center? Perhaps a former employee? Do the people have to take matters into their own hands?

Calls, leaves message for air-duct cleaning specials

I think they're casing homes to rob them. Exact same thing happened to me, they hung up when I asked for their phone number. They called and offered to come into my home to clean furnace vents, clean clothes dryer vent and A-C for $59. I told them I might want to use them, so to give me contact info - and they hung up. I also am on the do not call list.

Received a call from 314-492-5898 - Air Duct Cleaning Service, ducts, dryer vent.   I listed to the spill and pressed 1 for more information person (female) came on the line.  As me if I would like to hear more about the Air Duct Service and I ask for address and they hung up.

I keep getting annoying calls from this company.  Once, I pressed  1  to talk to a human.  Asked them if they understood I was on the Do Not Call List.  The weasels hung up but still keep calling.

My advice.  Talk to them.  Tell them you're interested in their $59 air duct cleaning and make an appointment.  When they come out, beat the crap out of them with piece of lead pipe and leave them for dead.
