Calls are coming in 3-4 times a day. No messages are left.

I also received several phone calls from this number and finally I answered the phone.  I was told it was Edward Jones Financial's corp office calling to set an appt with a local branch to have me switch my 401K with another company over to some sort of investment with their company.

Apparently this is a number at the Edward Jones Campus in St Louis.  Very informative message on the voice mail indicates that an Edward Jones representative who is currently attending classes at the campus had called, that the number dialed does not accept messages, but that the rep would be back in my community in a few days.  Apparently my broker is up there and he's calling to touch base to get me to buy something.

This # has call my mother more then a few times.  She has talked to a male who claims to be from the Edwards Jones Finance co. out of Saint Louis, MO.  she as told him several times that she dose not want his service and to remove her from his co. database.  I called and was only able to listen to a message, I could not leave one.  All I've learnd so far it that its a landline.  But more will follow.  I garanty it.

How can they call me when I'm on the national do not call list?

A lady named Janet from Ed Jones called the main office number where I work and spoke with my receptionist.  When she learned I was out at the moment, she wouldn't leave me a voicemail and said she'd try again another day.  I currently use a couple of  Ed Jones' services, so i'm not sure why they would contact me in this way when they have other numbers to contact me.

I got a call this morning from someone wanting to schedule an appointment to discuss investing for my retirement. How can that be if I am on the "do not call list"?

I received a call to my cell phone just now from this number.  It's my first call from this number ... to my recollection.  No message was left on my voice mail.  I also am on the do not call list, however, I do have an IRA with them.  If I come to learn more about the purpose or nature of this call (i.e. calls from this #, I'll try to remember to post something back here as an update.

I have a previous post above on Apr 26th.  Today it happened again (phone rings, didn't get to it in time, a different number in the cell phone's caller ID ... 314-515-2000, but no one leaves a message).

I recieved a call from a 314...the thing i didnt recognize it. I called the number back to see if it was a prank and it gave me the dame message a few of u said the call and hangs up and dont leave a message. Ya someone rep in my area came to talk about ed jones but didnt think i was gunna get a call from a number in MO. The number i got was 314-515-6122

Received a call on my cell phone from this number today, but did not answer.  No one left a message, so I was looking to see where it originated.  I called back to see who was calling and it was a recorded message.  The call message states it is from Edward Jones "campus", supposedly a person attending a seminar and they would be back in my area next week.  Sounds like solicitation to me and my number is on the do not call list.

Daily calls from Edward Jones. I am in Atlanta so the message names someone from the area who will visit me to discuss financial products and wants to set up appt. I think NOT.

Got a call for my wife from them. Told them she wasn't available but that we had discussed their visit to our house and what they had to offer and that we weren't interested. Had the nerve to call back within an hour after asking them not to call back on the first phone call.

I have received at least 12 missed calls from this number. No voicemail and they always call during my work hours which means that i cannot answer. I love this site becaus if its an ongoing problem i ca find out so i will post more later

They called me too and I'm on the the Do Not Call list, so I filed a complaint at the Do Not Call Registry.  Not sure what that accomplishes, but if others do the same, perhaps the FTC will put some pressure on them not to call folks.

I had a call from my edward jones financial guy from that number when he was in Missouri

Have got this number(314-515-6122 )that has caLled me several times, not sure why if its like you said ( edward jones) I have no money with this company, and have not spoken with anyone from this company, and woud not invest anything in this company even if i was planning to.If it is edward jones that is calling,the goverment has ripped off my retirement enough and alLows my company to do what its been doing with my retirement i dont need someone else taking advantage of my 2 dollars i have left(lol)............................

A very sketchy guy showed up at my door three weeks ago - a young guy, blonde curly hair, wearing a suit that he somehow just didn't seem to fit into properly.  He looked like a surfer dude someone stuck in a cheap suit.  He must have been casing my house, because his opening remarks were about some stickers on my car:

I work on a military base and have specific stickers on my windshield, which, when I park my car, faces my garage door.  You'd have to walk around the car to see these stickers and put yourself between the car and my garage to see them.  Kind of an odd thing to do for a guy claiming to be "a college grad breaking out as a financial advisor for Edward Jones."    He 'buttered my bread,' making remarks to the effect of, "..so glad you represent the Army, my uncle is in Iraq...."  My stickers do NOT say Army.  Nothing on my car says Army.   I found these remarks more than odd, they were down-right creepy.  He then wanted to hand me a business card, which meant I'd have to open my door.  I refused, so he said he'd put it in the mailbox.  He asked if he could send me info - wanted my name.  I refused.  He said he lived locally - that he lived in a town that is right next to mine.  I asked him to leave.  

A week later I got a note card in the mail from him - it was addressed to me, with my name, which I did not give him.  It was post marked from the town next door.  

A week later my spouse received a phone call from someone from Edward Jones who claimed to be this guy, but he gave a different town that he was from, and the phone number on the called ID was 314-515-6122.  Not a phone number from our area or even our state.  

According to an internet search, Edward Jones was taken to court in a law suit for fraud and lost - to the tune of $75million, apparently they've frauded their customers.  

BEWARE EDWARD JONES OR ANYONE CLAIMING TO BE FROM THIS COMPANY.  Smells too much like fraud or phishing, or worse.  How did this creep get my name?  Must have used one of those pay-for web searches where you pluck in a street address and get all kinds of personal information.  Will he be back?  Is he a robber or worse?  IDK, but I will call the police the next time I hear from him.
