Spammers calling from this number wanting personal information. Do not answer or give out any info.

Got a call from this number (robocall) saying that I was facing some legal action and to please call ASAP.  Name of caller was "Tate". Called yesterday too.....

I've had a call FIVE times now.  Asked twice to have it removed, and then when I called again today, and told them to remove it NOW, I was told "nothing is going to happen with that tone of voice".  I called the St. Louise police to report harassing phone calls.  Maybe if enough people do, they will take care of it.

Received several calls this week from this number on my cell phone that I have never given out and only use it for emergencies.
Caller indicates that I have been named in a legal matter and my SS# will be sent to the local county.   Strange since this cell phone does not have any of my personal info including my name attached to it.   This is a scam and I hope that the St Louis authorities can track down this person and throw them in jail.   Last week I got several similar type calls from another number from  different states.   After talking to some friends they also are getting these type of calls.   I guess as long as there are stupid people that return their calls and provide personal info these calls will continue.

This is a common ploy by criminals masquerading as debt collectors who are attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your work place, friends, or relatives repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying.  They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Have been receiving calls for the past week from this number. Same person that M. Spanis cited, a woman named "Tate" saying that she was from Legal Processing and I was in the middle of a legal dispute and my Social Security # is on file. Except she never actually used my name or cited any specific information on my identity. It was a recorded voicemail message, as after it played the first time it paused and they played again after about 5 seconds.

Glad to see from the other reports that this is all bull**** though. Keep up the good fight in reviewing these lowlifes so we can all sleep a bit easier at night.

This company legal processing is a legit company. I had a debt with them andi called to verify it through my bank before i paid it and my bank verified that they are legit. I had a good experience with them it is only the people who refuse to pay there account that has the problem!

I actually verified them through my bank and they are a legit company. They are suppose to inform you on what could happen if you dont pay your bill. I had a very nice rep. And she help settle my account. And they cleared it off my credit. I will advise if you have a debt through them that you need to clear it up and pay the bill.

You types are incredibly stupid. Do you seriously think there are people naive enough to believe your lines of garbage?  I'd take your story apart but there's no need. You've done a good enough job of proving you're a scammer all by yourself.

Hey Thomas & Trina (probably the same person) -- Pathetic  try!!  We all know the story of how your little scam is failing.  You forget to give us the name & physical address of this "company".  WHY??  If YOU had paid YOUR bills, you wouldn't be in trouble (not that I believe your story).

Called twice in the last 2 weeks. Same message no mention of any particular name, address, or even the state in which some sort of legal action is to be filed. First caller was a woman named Tate, second was a Mrs. White. Caller ID said Legal Services the first time they called, second time it said only St. Louis. Call comes from St. Louis, we live in Texas. Law requires written notice within 5 days of first contact. It's been 2 weeks from the first call and no letter has arrived. This is just a scammer! Call is now blocked.

Trina  Moore they are a scam . They called me over a week ago . Saying that I owed something that was done in another state . I do not even live in that state . And the number they called from is no longer working right after they called me . This girl said her name was Amanda . What you people that say it's a real company . Scammers use real company names to scam people . Because I called the company name they used . And they don't collect debts and that they didn't even know her at all . So I would not give any personal information out to them . Because for the simple fact . They never mailed out any paper to me . They were going to email me also . Never got a email from them . They are only scammers !!

I just got another call from a different number . From another girl& it was under a different number . This Amanda girl told me that they did a deep background check on me . So if she did as she said she did . She would not have tryed getting information out of me . Because if you do a back ground check on anyone it shows all there information . They are just a lot of lazy ass people who don't want to work a real job like all of us do . They just rip people off .

Yes it is a scam . They called me a week ago . And then they  just called me again today . But I didn't answer . Their scamming hard working people . Because they are just lazy low life people .
