- RogerGot a call from this number this afternoon. Note the prefix 555 that is often used in TV shows and movies as a bogus phone number that doesn't exist. I don't know how this came through but I didn't pick it up and have placed it on call blocking.

Sales call. Wanted to know if I needed my air ducts cleaned. - AaronCalled saying they serviced my furnace back in 2010 and wanted to come out and service it again. Not sure who they were but I hung up on them.
- Caller: Did not identify company when asked.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JohnPhone only rang for a second. Will be blocking the number....
- PeggyWe had a call from a furnace and Air duct cleaning service saying they were going to be on our street today and could they service our house too. They knew our street name. We are on the no call list so I don't know how they got our number. Scary!
- JanetReceived call about furnace and he wanted to come out to service the furnace, advised that I did not know anything about the service. The person hang up the phone and could not call back to the location, he even had my first and last name on file.
- Me Too| 1 replyCaller ID said "DIR ASST MO" W/ # 314-555-2525. Male caller offered 16 point furnace inspection. I advised caller that I was on the MO & Fed. "No Call List" and to remove me from their calling list or be reported and asked if he understood. Phone slammed.
- Caller: DIR ASST MO
- Me Too replies to Me TooSame number called w/ same Caller ID info within 72 hours of last call. This time the caller was a female but claimed that they had worked on my furnace in the past. I stopped her there and said that whoever she claimed to represent had called a couple of days ago. I also told her that whoever she claimed to be calling for never did work on our furnace and that I had told the previous caller that we were on the MO & FED "No Call List" and not to call us. I reiterated that and told her to "cease and desist" from further calls. This one did not slam the phone but actually said "Sorry." It is still a 'scam.'
- StephGot a call from this number and since it was 555, I wasn't sure if I should answer. I did, and a man on the other end asked for me by my maiden name. I told him wrong number and we both hung up. Scary they have my information.
- Caller: Didn't say
- Yeah TheycalledThey called me today. Told me they were with AA HVac and my furnace was overdue on inspection since they had done it last and could they come out and do it. I asked him when that was, he told me September 2010. No. They have never been here. Scary part, he knew my home address and my name. :(
- Caller: Scam - said they were AA Hvac
- AaronToday makes the sixth time they've called me. ( I posted back in Nov on this) I've asked them to remove my number from their list each time as I am on the no call list and they claim they have no record of having called previously.
- Caller: Still did not identify
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AshGot a call from this number. Said it was from Missouri. Didn't answer. Sounded like a sex call. chick moaning and using some profanity. Blocked the number. Gross.....
- ToddCalled about cleaning my ducts and servicing my furnace again. Thing is they never have been to my house. My house is only a couple years old and they said they serviced it a few years back. I think I'd know since I built the house new.
- JoToday's call is at least the 2nd one from this number, same request about furnace/duct cleaning, been here before, etc., etc. Several others with the same sales pitch have come from different numbers. NOBODY has touched my furnace since 2000 except one specific company. They had my name and address--but it's in the phone book so I can't complain about that. I've tried making no-call complaints to the Missouri Attorney General (are you listening, sir?) about these people and the credit card people (I don't use credit cards), but they aren't even acknowledged and nothing ever changes. Ho hum.
- Caller: AA "something"

- LynnWe have received many complaint calls at my work about this number since we are an HVAC business and they are offering duct cleaning. We suspect the company name they are using is not accurate, too. Our customers are very unhappy that they are being lied to and are scared. They try to fool them with info that they have from mailing lists so that they people they are calling think they are already using them and they are "due" to come back. They are not honest and offering you anything when they pretend you already use their services. It's not even a legitimate solicitation - it is a complete scam and a pressure tactic to "buy now" that only allows the crooks in your home. If you cannot call them back (they will not give you a number), then that tells you they are a scam.

- LeroyYa got the same BS call today. Lady called I asked her what she was wearing. She was like, WHAT? I said, I bet your wearing croutchless panties arn't you. Ya, she hung up. Don't think they will call back.

- VergieThe company that is calling you states their name is "AA Furnace/Duct Cleaning" however the real name is Anytime Duct Cleaning. They will offer a $49.00 special to clean your air ducts however their "technicians" will come out and put their cellphone on a long rod and insert it into your ducts. They will then show you pictures of mold that they say their phone took while in your ducts...that is a lie! Your $49.00 special deal becomes well over $1000 (they will tell you the cost to clean your duct of mold is $90 but neglect to tell you that is per duct). You can reach these crooks at 314-296-8479 or 877-611-4318.
From the BBB - Area homeowners report they got calls with an unbelievable deal for air duct cleaning. Fortunately many of them called the BBB to check on the reliability of the business. Nothing showed up in the St. Louis office. But according to BBB investigator Bill Smith, “We started checking and the more we started pulling back the layers, we noticed that they were connected to a company operating in North Carolina operating as Indoor Air Quality Solutions. We have some evidence that this company may be based in California.”
Indoor Air Quality Solutions has an “F” grade with the Charlotte BBB with over 50 complaints in one year. Smith explains how they earned that grade. “It`s a $50 fee they tell the people on the phone. Once they get out there they want to show them mold and say the situation is worse than they thought so they`re asking for hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars to do additional cleaning.”

- See more at: http://www.bbb.org/stlouis/business-reviews/a ... h.erZFH6Go.dpuf - Licorette VSt. Louis, Mo., Nov. 3, 2014 – Homeowners from across the St. Louis area have filed complaints with Better Business Bureau (BBB) claiming that Anytime Duct Cleaning used high-pressure and misleading sales tactics to trick them out of hundreds to thousands of dollars.
BBB advises caution when dealing with representatives of Anytime Duct Cleaning or AA Duct Cleaning of Hollywood, Calif. An Anytime attorney said the company also uses the name AAA Any Time Duct Cleaning Corporation. He identified Tal Ohayon and Sahar Brown as owners of the company. He identified Moshe Ben Shabat as St. Louis sales manager.
Anytime has an “F” rating with BBB, the lowest possible.
The homeowners, most of them senior citizens, said representatives of Anytime phoned and offered them duct-cleaning deals ranging from $40 to $100. But when company technicians arrived, they told the homeowners that their heating and cooling systems were unusually dirty and potentially dangerous to their health. They then charged the homeowners up to $3,000 each for cleaning, chemical treatments and other services.
Michelle Corey, BBB president and CEO, said the bait-and-switch sales techniques are typical of the kind of questionable tactics used by some duct-cleaning businesses. “These seniors were led to believe they were getting their ducts cleaned for $40 or $50 only to realize later they were being charged much, much more,” Corey said. “Any company that treats its customers like this needs to take a hard look at how it runs its business.”
Anytime customers have accused the company of violating state and federal No Call laws, refusing to honor requests to stop calling and claiming that the company previously had worked for them when it had not. Customers also allege that Anytime used scare tactics, telling customers that their dirty ductwork could adversely affect their health. They claimed, too, that the work was either unnecessary or poorly done and led to damage that later had to be repaired. - Jacob| 1 replyA senior citizen from Chesterfield said Anytime solicited him by phone in September, even though he is on Missouri’s No Call list. He said the caller told him that Anytime could clean his ducts and dryer vent for a flat charge of $44.95. Once the crew arrived, however, they told him they found mold in the system, and the cost of a thorough cleaning suddenly jumped to more than $700. The homeowner said they also told him they needed to install an ultraviolet air cleaning system for an additional $1,100, but offered him a package deal for $1,300. After the workers left, the homeowner noticed that the ultraviolet box was affixed to his system with duct tape and the power cord was not connected to an outlet. The homeowner said there was no outlet in reach of the cord, and he ultimately had the box removed by his regular heating and air-conditioning company, which told him it was unnecessary.
A 74-year-old woman from South St. Louis County said she, too, expected that Anytime’s $44.95 duct-cleaning offer would cover any work that needed to be done. She said she was shocked when a worker presented her with a bill for $3,500. After she complained to the company, she said the bill was cut to $1,000, but she remained dissatisfied. “I told them this is not what I thought it was going to be. I am not happy at all.”
A 74-year-old Hazelwood woman said she was solicited by Anytime in late August and accepted an offer to clean her ducts for $44.95. She said the business ultimately charged her more than $1,700 after reporting she had mold in her ducts. “He kept emphasizing how important it was for me to breathe clean air, and that my vents and ducts were not healthy for me,” she said.
Anytime has responded to several BBB complaints, saying it offered a basic duct cleaning to homeowners at a low price, but then the consumers accepted a “no obligation” package at a higher cost for deeper cleaning and sanitizing. Anytime said it would not issue refunds. - Me TooI have been harassed for the past 3 weeks by calls from "DIR ASST MO," 314-555-2525. I've lost count of the calls and have reported again to the AGO. I have told them that I am on the state and federal "No Call Lists" and to stop calling. Only one caller, a female, said sorry while the others just slammed the phone down. I see that since my posted complaints from early in the month, that some have done your homework (research). While this "800notes.com" is a nice way to vent it does not get on the AGO radar. While I have submitted complaints, I just had to speak to a person today as well and called the AGO's office -- 1-866-662-2551. I urge you to contact the AGO office in MO to motivate them into action.
