Asked for owner.  Claimed to be follow up call with owner, which was not true.  Gave 219-472-4150 as number for owner to return his call.  Never gave me his company name, I had to look it up from his call back number.  First clue this is probably a scam.  Asked what call was regarding, & could not get direct answer.  Call back number is for Doppler Internet in Indiana. I just don't trust anyone trying to get to owner and not being upfront about what they are calling for.

Had the same experience as "Dont BS ME".  Do you think it is coincidence that we are both from Missouri?  What are they trying to pull.  I even offered that I was the wife of the owner and got a "I'll call back".  CLICK.  The nerve!

That's because they are really calling from Angeles City Philippines using a VOIP phone system to trick people into thinking they are in Indiana.

I used to work there but they don't pay their staff so I quit.

It;s a [***] company and the owner can't be trusted.

Their office was located at 24 Malabanas Rd for a few months but they switched to Sun Moon Hotel for about a week and now operate out of internet cafes in the seediest part of town.

I thought about working for them and I have a few questions:

What sort of work did you do for them?
How long did you work for them?
What did you do that you should have been paid for?
What did they tell you when there was no pay?
How come there aren't really any scam reports online about Carl Doppler or his companies? All I found were lots of good reviews on linkedin.

I wonder if it is because they screw over all their employees? I just started with Doppler and we call from our homes using VOIP, but ever since I started over 1.5 weeks ago I have not received one employment documentation or form to fill out to show that they are intending to pay me. I am so worried because I will not have rent money.

I too just got a call from someone from this number & she asked for my boss by his first name only.  I told her he was unavailable because I had a feeling this was a telemarketer & she said she'd call back.

Wow! Deans still "advising" Carl? It's unbelievable to me this business or whatever is still operating.  I worked there when it was in Hammond witnessed alotta activity.  Much of it probably illegal or borderline illegal! Smh! And honey count on NOT HAVING your rent because he doesn't intend to pay you. I'm sorry. True story tho!

I followed Dean DeLisle link...yep still up to their [***].  Dean Was Carl's "advisor" Doppler didn't do a website for his business.  He didn't have a business!

You are right Dean was Carl's Advisor but he did do a website for Dean (I made it). Dean is doing lectures on how to get leads in Linkedin (seems legit). But as for Carl yeah has been and will always be a scam artist and eventually it will catch up to him.

I remember you, I sat behind you in the sales room. I thought you got fired not quit. something about borrowing money from the wrong people and they kept coming up to the office looking for you. I don't like the owner there either but come on any one who knows you knows your a drug head.

I don't like telemarketers either. I have been in sales for a long time but only face to face sales. I do understand why they only want to talk to the owner. The owner is the decision maker in a business. I bet if you said you were one of the owners they would have spoken to you. but still frustrating.

I used to work for them a few years ago. I was there for about 2 years. I was a sales guy, mostly cold calls. I got paid a weekly salary then a small commission on websites that I sold. I quit and started my own seo business. I always got paid and everyone that I know that worked there "when I worked there" got paid. I think the real complaint from all of us former employees was that we were paid late. Most of the time its only a few days but some times it was a week or two. It was frustrating but life goes on

Doppler Internet is a scam. I can attest to that. And they hire employees giving excuse after excuse to delay paying till you finally figure out you will not get paid and quit. He can usually keep a state-side work from home caller for about a month before they quit. That is a lot of free work.

Same thing, Carl is always not paying the salary of his employees that's why all of his employees are getting resigned. His former employees are regretting to work with him and his company.

Carl is a crook.  He opened offices in Florida last year and early this year.  He hid behind a franchise.   He convinced a young man to take a fronted Doppler franchise and to pay him back $100,000 when he started selling websites.  Every single employee quit, including the young man who opted to be the supposid franchise owner.  Carl was calling clients and telling them he's dying and that he needs to close his business.  He did this in front of his five year old boy.  He is not terminally ill.  He is a fraud.  He is a liar.  He is a scammer.  Do not trust this man, ever.  Stay as far away from him as is humanly possible.
