Claims to be from the USDA ? Asked for my boss. Said he filled out some paperwork.

This number belongs to the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service. This branch of the USDA collects data from agricultural operations and compiles them for monthly and quarterly reports as well as the Census of Agriculture which is conducted every 5 years. All United States agricultural operations are included and subject to calls from NASS, however most of the surveys that are conducted are voluntary and while an operation can be removed from a particular survey- they will remain in the USDA's database unless their is a change in operator, operator retired or operation goes out of business...also please keep in mind that if there is not enough data at the state/county level, no info will be published for that state or county. this is not a telemarketing agency and  therefore also not subject to those rules.

We have a landline for fax machine purposes only.  As this may be a legit call, they just called the landline at 7:48 a.m.  Legit or not, I feel like this is too early to call any landline.  They call the landline several times a day.

They call my house at 7:00 am. UNEXCEPTIONABLE

just called at 5 am West coast time, said paper work was sent in December and didn't want my husband to get  fined for not filling it out. We never owned Ag  but did live in the mid west over 10 yrs ago. He had this number, and 2 very out dated other numbers., Man was very nice, but creamy to have so much info.

Shows up as USDA.  Left message " I will get you."  Who is this and why the call?????  With all the bad things happening in today's world I do not need this.

I do not know this person. Leave me alone. Do not know why I got it.  They are a nuisance.

USDA survey. They say that your participation is voluntary, not compulsory, yet THEY WILL NOT EVER GIVE UP.

I have asked over and over to have them remove my number and they will not

Called landline. CID USDA. Female unrecorded voice left a message for someone we do not know and does not live here. Would almost think this call was a legitimate wrong number, except no contact information was left for this supposed person she was trying to contact. Reading other posts makes us suspicious of this call.

This seems to be a scam/phishing call. Why would they ask for someone we don't know and does not live here? But, made it a very important part of the call that they had dialed the number correctly.  So, now they have my phone number. Makes me very nervous.

I have sufficiently answered the guestions to the best of my ability and they continue to call multiple times on two of my business phone numbers. While this may be a legitimate agency,  it is harassment. This interrupts my businesses and needs stopped.

Left a voicemail at 8:10 pm. The business I work for is not even open past 5 and all of the similar companies around me are not either. After reading the posts It does seem suspicious, but not overly so. I will have to wait and see if I get another one.
