I received a call from this number, but they did not leave a message.  Caller ID just said "Missouri".  Very frustrated.  I don't know whether to call back and see who it is and risk them knowing it's a live number, or ignoring it and see if I receive additional calls.

This number keep calling me early mornings after two or three rings they hang up, don't know if I should call back, I'll catch the call one day and I'm going togive them a ear full

Calls and leaves no message.   I to am on the do not call list.  A lot of good it does.

   Message left on machine claims the US Education Department has a new program to eliminate your student debt - all you have to do is anaswer two questions.
   Clarly spam/phishinbg.  Number blocked, don't answer.

Called & hung up before the answering machine picked up. Just block. Don't answer or call back, or press anything to be removed from the call list. All of these actions just confirm to scammers that a real person answered and the number is "good". Then they will sell the number to others, and you just get more calls from more scammers.

Being on the no call list prevents law-abiding companies from calling you with solicitations. It will not prevent scammers; they're already breaking laws and don't care that you're on the do not call list.
