No caller ID/ stop all calls from this number and area code also state

Stop calling me.  I have nothing to talk about with you.  I have no collection debts at all.  You are a crook or phony of some kind obviously

called my cell phone.  Will report to do-not-call-list.

STOP CALLING ME.... No one ever says anything and the phone they  call me on is a cell phone and costs me money... as little as it is, it still ticks me off!

Called my cell phone. I called back and an automated voice picked up telling me my number would be removed from their list. Strange!

Left an automated message claiming I won a prize. Called the number back to reach the automated phone removal line.

So annoying.

I did the same thing. Didn't even know I had the call till I checked my missed calls. Called the number twice to make sure I heard right. Strange indeed.

Yep, me too. Called it back and an automated female voice said to allow 48 hr. to be removed from their list. Hmmm, strange though, I recognize this voice. I have gotten a call from a different number (I think a different number) with the exact same voice and message. Maybe I do get taken off that one number, but get called on another day from another number with the same message if you call the number back???? Very odd. Does anyone understand what this is all about?

I called the number back using a phone with a private number that can't be recorded.
It said "hi, you have reached the automated removal line, your number has been recorded and will be removed , please allow 48 hours." Thats a bunch of crock, it did not record my number. My number was marked private and from a phone they have never called and would be in trouble if they did.
Calling back to remove your number is a trick for some reason.
May be a phreaking company.

I have received one phone call from this specific number, but another call from a suspiciously similar number (314 627 6729). The call from the 6661 number was today, August 31st, at 6:27 PM. I received the 6729 call on Friday, August 27th, at 4:30 PM. ... Hmm. After two calls from another number, the calls stopped... maybe this will be the case with this number as well...


I've been getting several calls from different unknown numbers...

I just did the math (wrote down each time an unknown number called me in a monthly planner) and 9 different numbers have been calling me since the 23rd of August (for a total of 11 calls)... I wonder why they started that date... and, strangely, no one calls on the weekend... so this each must be some sort of 9-5 office..

Maybe you should think about doing the same -- keep a record of which number and when it called you... maybe it'll lead to something??

I think it may have to do with online purchases I make... well from now on I know not to give ANY company, even the legit ones like Broderbound or NewEgg, my cell number... you can never know where your number can be passed on to.

Just got a call on my cell, called them back from my Google voice number. The recording let me punch in my cell number for removal - the recording also said "Please allow seven business days for us to remove your number from our database."

Scammers.

I received 2 calls today from the same number.

It is a telemarketing firm.  This morning they offered me legal service for fighting the IRS.  This afternoon was an offer of LIfe Insurance from a Government program.

They are using a auto dialer and your voice seems to activate the message.

I received two miss calls from this number...and sometime i get three or all day.. now stop picking them up.. what should i do...

Yeah I've gotten many calls from this number. It pisses me off. I have made online purchases that required my number, and have given my number on a social networking site like facebook or myspace.

The people behind these calls are legitimate crooks, who probably have read these forums already. They know what they're doing, and the obviously are very damn smart and clever. It's very admirable, to be able to pull things like this off, but then I think about the people that they hurt, and the guilt that these crooks obviously ignore, or don't even know about.

Taking advantage of people who are paranoid or gullible, when they are innocent and most times, done nothing wrong to deserve to be robbed of their money, which they can use to be happy, or to help their family, like a son or daughter who's sick, or a parent, or a friend in trouble. I don't care what the reason these crooks are doing it for, whether they are in deep [***], or debt, or they could have even better reasons.

If these people can pull scams like this off, they should be smart and sharp enough to get ANOTHER healthier, less stressful way of making money. I'm telling you, from experience. If you can do this [***], you can get money some other way, perhaps helping people. This money, when you spend it. Think of all the anger and sadness that is soaked inside that dollar.

Same thing just happened to me at 3pm today

Rec'd call from them today....no message...caller ID said Solutions WCA.  I Googled that and didn't find the associated phone number but it appears that the ID name is some sort of debt consolidation company or something of that sort...
