Dawn - 2 Jun 2008Yes, I got the same charge, it showed up on my monthly statement. I'm sure that it is fraud. My credit card company is investigating. It also appears to be an ongoing monthly charge because my credit card company will not close this account until this is resolved.

My bank had me call and the number was answered by automated voicemail that said the mailbox was full and hung up. I agree, this is some type of scam or fraud and I hope they discover the people involved, it seems to be widespread if you compare just these three comments.

Leanna - 19 May 2008This is definatly a scam! I got the same charge, $11.89, from Jackson Group Realtors on my Visa card. It looks like some kind of software company. I think they charge people's credit card for small amounts in hopes that most people will not notice/dispute the charge. Even if people do notice, if you dispute the charge with the company instead of your credit card company, Jackson sends you a free software trial with your refund in hopes that you will buy their products anyways. If you get this charge, dispute it through your credit card company, not Jackson Realtors.

I am working with my bank now who said they would investigate it as a fraud and press charges. I encourage you to do the same. How did they get our account number?

E.A. - 20 May 2008I also received this charge and the exact same amount from Eyecon Technologies. Same amount charged on the same day and when I called both phone numbers from my statement, they were part of the same voicemail system. Bank of America removed both charges from my account, but said that because the transactions have seperate reference numbers and were for such small amounts they would only go after them if the same company tried to charge me three times. So, these fraudulent "companies" have found a loophole. And since so many people don't look carefully at their statements, they'll continue to get away with it. Unbelieveable.

Called the phone number and received a message to communicate by email to support@Jacksontemplate.com. Of course, my email message was returned due to "technical details of permanent failure." I have contacted my bank (Fifth Third in Cincinnati) and am following the challenge procedures they require.
