Caller said she had a survey about parental ratings on television shows.  At the end she asked me to press 9 to "electronically sign" the petition.  When I asked her what organization she is with, is she said goodbye

So they just called and asked for the Ms. I told the lady she had the wrong number then she very smugly stated "well just so you know I am calling for Corporations for character sorry" then she hung up...weird...we looked up the company and it seems to be a charity organization or something....

Lady called and asked for my husband.  I asked who she was and she hung up.  Can't call the number back.

The woman on the phone asked if we had any children in the house under the age of 18. Then asked if she could speak with the man of the home. When I tried to ask questions it hung up on me.

This woman called and asked for my landlord. I told her twice she didn't live there and she gave my the Mumbo jumbo about she worked for that charity and hung up?! Seemed super fishy to me?! Don't want to overact but I might call my local news, they are up to something!

She asked for Tony, I told her no Tony so she asked for head of household and i could hear her trying to record my name so I muffled it.

These are a bunch of idiots that call people for fun. Wake up, people are busy and have other things to do. Morons....Find something to do.....

Asked me several questions about television ratings for children.  Then ask me to press 9 for a electronically signature.  Then she kept talking and I hung up.

Automated message:

"Hello! May I speak to the man of the house?"

Then, I hung up.

This lady called me at 8:53pm and asked for the lady of the house. I told her yes but it was 8:53 at night and my daughter was sleeping and i asked her to not call me this late and then i hung up. So ignorant. Really? This late for a stupid survey.

These people have been calling my cell phone. Never leave a message. Call at random times. It may be a computer dialing program that calls multiple numbers and hangs up when it gets an answer on one. Telemarketers and scammers use these programs all the time. I hate that they now are calling cell numbers too!!!

I called the number back and a menu allowed me to have my number put on their do  not call list.   It said it could take 30 days so I will update it that works or not.

The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.

On May 9, 2011 the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Department of Justice filed a complaint against Forrest S. Baker III, Feature Films for Families Inc, Corporations for Character LC, and Family Films of Utah ("Defendants") which produce and market films and DVDs and solicit charitable contributions from consumers nationwide. The FTC alleges that that, in order to persuade donors to give money, the defendants made multiple false and misleading misrepresentations about: a) the nature or purpose of the organizations; b) the way in which charitable contributions would be used; and c) the percentage or amount of any charitable contribution that would go to an organization. The FTC complaint also alleges that the defendants have repeatedly called numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry in their telemarketing campaigns. Additionally, the complaint alleges that the defendants violated the Telemarketing Sales Rule by: a) calling consumers who have previously asked that the defendants stop calling them; b) failing to provide the name of the telemarketer or seller making the call to Caller ID devices; c) failing to orally identify the seller, the purpose of the call, and the nature of goods or services when making telemarketing calls; and d) abandoning calls to consumers by failing to connect consumers to live representatives when they answer the phone. The complaint seeks a court order to permanently bar the defendants from violating the FTC Act and the Telemarketing Sales Rule, as well as civil penalties, and disgorgement of their ill-gotten gains. This company, according to my Caller ID, is from CORP4CHARACTER, using the # 314-666-8480.  I had a caller a week earlier from the same company, again, according to my Caller ID, from the number 317-559-5545.  Don't know who they are or why they are calling ME!  Called from my TracFone.  The computer answered stating I could be placed on their Do Not Call list.  I waited....fortunately I'm a writer and had scheduled today to return calls and clean.  So I had PLENTY of time to wait until they picked up.  they gave me a chance to leave a message, but the mailbox was full, but I could press -0- to get additional assistance.  I did that and unfortunately the mailbox was full.  I could press -0- to get additional assistance or press -1- to disconnect.  After doing this several times, I hung-up.  Sounds like a scan to me!

This 314-666-8480 & 317-559-5545 have called my parents home who are elderly after 8 pm at night and are VERY RUDE! The woman on the line said "is this the woman of the house" in which I said uh..no it's not and she RUDELY said okay I will be calling back and by the time I was able to say anything she had already hung up.. I don't know who this ppl are are what they want but this is getting ridiculous.  I don't know why EVERY TIME it's "the woman of the house".. WEIRD! They have NEVER stated what they were calling for or about only the fact that they would be calling back... Makes no sense and like I said very weird and strange!

Corporations for character called our home at 8:36 pm. Asked for a female who doesn't reside here, as soon as I tried to respond a very rude women stated , " just so you know, this is Amanda from corporation for character." will report to attorney general in my state and the FTC. Very strange.
