Yes.  I received a call from this number yesterday.  There is another source you can find by using Google to search for this number that claims that it is a spam call for a home security system.

I didn't actually hear the call ring because they called one of my "extra" numbers, i.e., one that literally no one but me knows about and that I use only for special purposes (such as for sending outgoing faxes because it is not reliable for incoming faxes - I use another service for that and put the other number on my outgoing faxes, which is legal because I have both numbers and am not being deceptive).  Thus, any call to this extra number is either a wrong number (very rare) or a telemarketer picking numbers to dial randomly.

If anyone calls, there is actually a recording that plays immediately to the caller.  This recording identifies me as "ANonieMouse from 800notes.com!"  The recording warns the caller about scam calls (especially Nigerian scams) from the standpoint of the caller being a victim, not a scammer.  But it takes about 90 seconds to get through until the caller is allowed to leave a message in my junk call voice mailbox.  The caller hung up after 12 seconds, according to call detail records from the phone company, so I got no message from them.

Given my experience and what little else is being reported about this number so far, I wouldn't pick up a call from this number.  It would be interesting to see if anyone else has, or if someone has received a voice mail message from them.  I'd like to know what they are trying to sell.

By the way, my phone company's caller ID name service (as opposed to caller ID number service) did not identify the caller at all.  But that can mean very little, if anything at all.  Because of the way caller iD name is delivered to you, it is much less reliable than the Caller ID number, and even that can be spoofed and is often misleading.

Seems it is some sort of solicitation, I called back, pressed one for a cust svc agent, and got the option to leave a vmail, there is also an option to + your # to a do not call list, fyi, the comp never id's themselves though, bizarre...

If that is the only reason you wouldn't answer a phone number, then you are either a superstitious fool or a troll.  Numbers beginning with 314-666-8xxx are geographically assigned to Ladue, Mo.  From what I've read about that city, the people who live or who have recently lived there (including the late Stan Musial) are or were likely to be a lot less foolish and better educated than you are.

I am not superstitious but I am religious, and I did not answer because I saw the 666 in it and I have never heard of a number having that area code before so if I am a fool and undereducated as you implied, well then so be it.

Yes I received a phone call today from this number. They left no voice message?

Since I'm currently working for a client only a few miles from Ladue, I answered this call thinking it might be somehow work related.  

The call was disconnected after a few seconds with no type of response.

Just got a call from them and did not answer....they did not leave a message either.

When you answer, it's an automated person who mentions something about the FBI and house breakins. They can set you up with home security for free. You can press a certain number to accept, or another to be removed from the call list.

I have received this message from more than just this number. States something about law enforcement and if you allow them to place a sign in your front yard that a security system will be installed at no cost to you....I'm willing to bet that if it were true it would just be so they could case your place for a future burglary. If you really are worried about getting a security system for your place, I would suggest using one that does not feel the need to use an auto-dialer with a pre-recorded message.

Same thing as above. The robo-call called me at work (how did they get my work number or was that random too) and started with an attention getter about "the FBI says your home may be broken into...."  I thought initially it was from my security company.  Then it said they could install a security system for free (press this number) or take my name off the list (press this number).  I pressed the number to take me off the list.  My caller ID said "GB Marketing".

As far as the silly internet arguing going on - I think you people are wacked! Look I am trying to avoid sales calls, call back and get put on the do not call list. Save the arguments for your mother. Yes I'm sure I used bad grammar, so sue me, just don't call me.

They call each of the 11 lines at my place of business at least 10 times per day. I have spoke with many people. The majority of the people in the office hang up on me as soon as I state that I want them to place my numbers on the do not call list. The two that I have actually spoken to said they would remove the numbers. Obviously this has not happened. I have also called from every line to have the number added to their do no call list and yet they still call. No one will speak with me and no one will remove all of the phone lines here! Getting EXTREMELY irritated! It is incredibly disruptive to our business to have these calls continuously coming through EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Simply put...I don't answer calls if I don't know the person behind the number they originate from. Amazing how quickly scammers get hold of NEW numbers..I have had my new cell less than a week and only ones who have the number are my sister and her 2 sons.

Received a call from this number and tried to call back and got an automated voice. Area code is 314 which is saint Louis, 666 is the prefix. My dad's work number is 314-666-xxxx but this is obviously not a phone from his work

have you shopped at Target lately?  i think my info has been stolen and this is part of it.... my phone number was brand new..

I received a call today a few minutes ago.. I did not answer either!

I also received a call from this number, but I was turning in job applications and talking with a lady inside Subway, so I didn't answer because it didn't seem important, and then I was worrying about it being from another place I had turned in an application to, thanks for noting your experience with them, because it made me feel better when I read what they called about.
