Caller ID says Magazine Distributors. I did't answer it.

I have been getting a call from this numbr at least 4 times a day....

My husband answered the phone and was trying to understand what the female caller wanted.
She had started off by saying, "Thank your for paying your bill so promptly".
He was trying to find out the company and what bill she was talking about.

I heard enough, got on the extension, and asked what magazine are you talking about.
The girl hung up while saying "you people are pissing me off".  Very good sales and
customer service techinque!  I think it's a scam.

Tried to call me twice but didn't answer. Glad I didn't

Of course it's a scam.  No legitimate company would let an employee speak that way.  But criminals don't care.  You really ARE pissing them off because you won't let yourself be ripped off.  That REALLY pisses them off!

I have received this call several times, at least 3-4 times a week. This morning I ask, what is this in reference to, she called me a BIT*H and hung up on me. Now that's some real customer service..NOT!!!!...

If you have an Iphone, you can block the caller.  I just did after the 2nd call. So tired of calls on cell phone

Sick of these calls 3 times a day! I have received calls from this number every single day since last Monday!

I never answer but they continue to call everyday

My caller ID only shows the call came from St. Louis. All calls are no longer truly "sales calls," as some are made to get information, which is then sold. When people answer, they now know they have a working number with a real person (or people) who answer. Unwittingly people even offer their names or other info which is then collected for sale to real telemarketers. This outfit may or may not really be selling magazines, but I'll bet they're collecting and selling information, if they sell a magazine subscription in the meantime, just more money, but not many people subscribe to magazines anymore. my husband and i have been receiving calls from this number for the past couple days to a week. today there have already been 3 calls and they will not answer but hang up. we are now on a do not call list for home phone and our cell phones. will see what happens.

Calls many times a day extremely annoying

They have been calling my house phone 4 times a day! It's absolutely ridiculous. And I don't know how to block calls on my house phone. I've never answered a call from them either,

Had 9 calls from them already today. Twice I let it ring til they hung up. The other seven, I just rejected the call. Will be blocking them tonight!

I have received 4 calls just in one hour

Called tonight - let the answering machine pick it up.  They never started their spiel but I could hear someone in the background talking about magazine subscriptions.

They call me once a day at the least, sometimes after 7 PM. Annoying as can be. If they don't stop, I'll have some reporting to do.
