They claimed to be U.S. Bank. I was wondering if they really were or not, they claimed I owed them money (but I don't) and wanted my account info (why wouldn't they have it?).

they called my neighbors and wanted information on me.  I think they are getting/taking our mail out from our mail box (which is on a dirt road)and calling our neighbors house which is listed (we aren't)to get information on us.

I recieved a call and did not answer it and they left no message. It was
"restricted". I bank with US Bank and I certianly don't owe them any money. So I haven't any idea what this is about.

This is a collection agency.  They are indeed working for U.S. Bank.

There are federal laws that prohibit bill collectors from calling before 9:00 am.  Unfortunately, if you live on the west coast of the U.S. then you're out of luck.  These A**HOLES at this collection agency are too stupid to understand that even though THEY may be somewhere on the East Coast, when they call the West Coast, they are calling people who are still asleep at 6:30 in the morning.

The worst part?  They are calling for someone who has not lived at this number for almost 6 months.

They claim to be Card Member Services, but they don't identify what card!

THIS IS A SCAM!!! I have zero debt and no association with US bank.  I called US Bank and the people at this number are not associated with them at all. CALL THE FTC....I did :)

I called US Bank Fraud Dept and reported this number, US Bank Fraud dept they said this was card services dept, I then called the number 314-714-8459, they told me that they were in fact US Bank and Ellion Financial Group at elliongroup.com, just a guess but I think these guys are subcontractors for debt collection for US Bank and Ellion Financial, she said Ellion owned credit unions etc., for the record I do think they work for US Bank and are debt collectors, again when I called fraud dept. at US Bank (314-425-2000 and wait for voice to tell you which number to hit for fraud dept.)they knew the number and tried to play it off as credit card services. I have no accounts with them, not since about 5 years ago, never owed them a dime, but I will never bank with them again, it took me about 3 times to try and get a teller to close my account, they screwed it up twice, now this, no wonder I left that bank, but again this is US Bank and Ellion Financial, elliongroup.com

I recently applied for and got a new credit card from US Bank whom I bank with.  This call was just a customer service call to make sure that I received the card in the mail and to see if I had any questions.  Probably cause I've had it for a month now and haven't activated it yet.  They didn't ask any fishy questions to me at all.  FYI...
