Knew it was a telemarketer when I picked up, said hello, and there was a gap of time before someone responded. Guy identified his first name and company so fast I asked 'for what company?'. He said Dish Network and I responded with, oh, I thought you were blockbuster calling, to which he said, "no, but I can get you free movie rentals with Blockbuster." I said no thanks, we're happy with our current set-up, please take me off your calling list. No response, just silence so I said 'Hello, hello". They disconnected.

Telemarketers, if a potential client is courteous to you, then at least have the decency to acknowledge the response by the person on the other end of the line who you've interrupted. Your rudeness and tone reflects upon Dish Network or the company you are calling on behalf of.

I will never sign up for Dish Network, thank you whatever your name is. And I will lodge a complaint against Dish Network if any of their telemarketers or employees calls me again.
