I LOVE RadioShack's telezapper!  I still hear the ring, but, when I pick it up, there's no longer a jerk on the other end unless he/she dialed my number by hand.  :-)

Get the phone cal 5 or 6 times a day, never had Cigna has a health insurance provider, so no reason to call me.
Never leaves a message, and if I pick up the phone, I get hung up on

This is an identity theft ring, call the police in Creve Coeur, MO if you get a call from this number.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  No message left.  Called the number back from my work number and a woman answered, "This is Rachel, one of the registered nurses.  How can I help you?"  I hung up.  Could be CIGNA as one of the other posters mentioned.  I do have CIGNA insurance.

Constantly calls my cel phone. I spoke to them once months ago and they said they were from Cigna and performing a free wellness service. Then they asked questions about address, etc... I told them that they should already have that info, why ask? They said they'd mail me a package about it but I never recvd anything from them. I get these 5-6 times a week now. Often, after I have used my cel phone for another call. Not sure what is going on but I am reporting them to the donotcall.gov list. It's extremely annoying.

Me too they constantly call me at home, it's so annoying.  I never signed for this service they claim but I have to say that they did send me the info over the mail. I exactly responded like Figgiedan did by not giving them any info.  they wanted to know also my date of birth and wanted to verify personal information when I said to the lady who claimed to be a nurse that if you're calling me, you should have all the info then she said oh, no this is just for verification to make sure you're the person who we want to speak to.  I told her and I don't want to speak to you and not to call me again.  She said if I want that I have to give her the information especially my date of birth.  It's extremely annoying and I have to call cigna and see what the story is and to try to stop them from calling me...  Can't they listen, I'm not interested in their information.
They want to know your medical history and more.... What do they think are we stupid or what!  lol

I have been getting this call regularly on weekday afternoons. I do have Cigna for insurance, but they have no reason to be calling me as I have no current claims/issues with them.

I received a similar call, asking for birthdate and wanting to connect me with RNs for back care and other help. It seems suspicous or big brother.

Very similar comments to Figgiedan above about offering to send welcome kit.  Just got call yesterday so don't know if it will come. Just seemed odd to get outbound call from insurance co.

I have Cigna and I've been getting calls from this number every few days. Never has anyone left a message. If it's import I assume they would leave a message. I am not going to answer if I see that number come up. Thank you to the other posters for sharing their information!!

This is Cigna's wellness program.  They call me 5-8 times per day.  On days when I work from home it is so infuriating.  I blasted the guy today and told him to quit harassing me; he told me that they were automated calls and they are required by contract from my employer to contact me.  I just sent an email to my senior VP of HR and told him of the phone calls.

This address does not match any Cigna offices in St. Louis. The Cigna website only publishes 800 numbers. When the economy starts goes down, the scams go up. I have Cigna and know from past experience this is not how they contact their members.

I have gotten several calls on my Cell Phone from this number. Oddly enough, my cell phone won't ring, it just tells me I have a missed call, and brings up this number. Also, no messages are ever left. Very odd. I do have Cigna, but as a former employee of a health insurance company, I know for a fact that they shouldn't be asking for information if they contact you on the phone number they have on their records.

They are a wellness company paid by CIGNA...actually got one on the line. They get the info from CIGNA when a claim is paid, make an assumption about your problem (my case, a sinus infection that they assume was caused by asthma...WRONG!!) so they send "wellness" info and then call to "follow up". You have to tell them to take your file and note that you don't want the info...I don't blame the person on the phone, apparently they do it for other companies as well...But I am going to have a "chat" with my HR department.

I don't answer the phone but they have been calling for months.  I enjoyed the posts and finding more info on this.  I have Cigna and if they have breached my privacy information then this is a whole other discussion and perhaps a lawsuit.

I had been getting calls from this number for 2 weeks and finally decided to call them back from another phone.  I talked to Carol and she told me they are having issues with their dialer and that is why the hang ups are happening.  I just told her to put me on the "mail only" program so the calls would stop and she obliged.

Calls from the above no. are verging on harassment as I've received them at any time of the day/night INCLUDING Saturday! Next time their caller ID comes up, I'm requesting no more calls. However, if this doesn't solve the problem, I'm calling the BBB to file a report. Also, to protect yourself and your family, do not EVER divulge personal information over the phone. On another site, a poster stated they gave the caller their birth date when asked - DANGEROUS! If these "marketers" are really CIGNA representatives, they are NOT allowed to ask you personal info. questions.

If you believe all the narrative about "nurses" making these calls, I have some "property" in the Everglades you might be interested in!

It is CIGNA.  I DO have coverage with them.  They ARE providing a sort of phone advisor service for back problems I'm having.  It's part of the new effort by providers to help coach better behaviors to prevent health problems instead of just treating them after they happen.  I had to give approval for them to call me, but maybe your employer gave blanket permission.  And since this is a third-party supplier, they may support more than just CIGNA.

I just don't get it!  Why would anyone want to talk to a total stranger over the phone about your health or health related problems.  Are we covered by CIGNA through our employers? Yes.  Can we visit a living doctor/PA/RN/etc. in their office to have this discussion? Yes.  I would never wish to handle my health over the phone with a person calling my cell phone during the dinner hour who only knows where I work & that I have CIGNA health coverage.  Excuse me, but that's way too personal, and I am VERY OFFENDED!!!
