maybe a scam as I received a scam call earlier today from a known scam. Why doesn't the government become proactive in stopping abuse. The government is showing how useful they r in stopping progress and decency but how useless they r in prohibiting fraud and stupidity. Government In-Action. Bureaucratic zombies or is that an oxymoron?

This is National License Underwriters wanting me to renew my extended warranty (which I will never get again because of all the calls I have rece'd since expiration). They are strictly volume; rudeness does not help. If I have the time, I will waste as much of theirs as possible before I drop the bomb that I have 300k miles on my truck.

It seems that this company has independent callers all over the country based on the many area codes that show up from the same scammers. I didn't answer, no message left, no surprise. Sure glad that the national do not call list was set up! And no, I never had an extended warranty from this company, so they aren't getting my number from their "customer" files.

They wanted me to extend my warranty through them. I never go for the extended warranties its a waste of money for me.

Received a call 1:59 PM 3/13/15 from 314-843-2238, trying to sell a warranty on our 2012 vehicle.

Received a call from 314-843-2238 - Rude scam artists trying to sell some b.s. warranty on a car I haven't owned in 2 years.  The same company calls from different numbers.  Why can't this be stopped?

Received 2 calls this morning from this Saint Louis, MO.  I just left the first call ring (at 9:40) and the caller left no message. Second call was at 11:42 a.m. and I picked-up. Heard someone "click-in" and I asked what they wanted and said that it was their second call this a.m. A Female with real attitude responded, "I've never called you before in my life".

Wasting my time, I told her that she might not have called, but the number had and I hung up.  Still don't know what they wanted...I usually never engage, just block the number.

When you call back the number it does not work. Gotta love that!

I get calls from this "company" all the time.  I repeatedly tell them I'm not interested and to remove my name from their list. They still call - I block the number and they call back with a different number.  SCAM!!!

Same thing, got 2 calls but nobody on the other end.  Have tried blocking numbers, do not call list, etc. they still keep coming.  Whats amazing is that I own 11 cars and they are yet to come close to offering anything for any one of the cars that I own.

Got a call from this number. I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.  Although I've already been on the Do Not Call List for a long time I've gotten more scam calls this month than ever.  In addition, although I have the calls as "blocked" they are still coming through.  I re-registered my numbers on the Do Not Call list yet again.

I keep getting called by this number as well. One of the times I answered I got someone trying to sell me a warranty on my vehicle but told them I already have one so they said "ok, we'll remove you from our list" and then they hung up. Yet I still get called a few times a week but now nobody answers. I don't even get heavy breathing which would be welcome. I kinda want them to answer again so I can get the name of the company and their address to report them. It's my cell phone they keep calling so it's getting really old.

Seven calls in the past 24 hours about "extended auto warranty". The number is always different. The spiel is always the same script.
Have repeatedly asked them to stop calling.

These telemarketing calls are from "Vehicle Protection Center", aka "Auto Service Agency", a non-BBB approved business with many, many complaints filed.
They spoof numbers and call throughout the United States. Their actual telephone number is 636-875-1227.

They've called me so many times, I now just come up with the most heart wrenching story I can about my car blowing up or what not and low and behold they still call...ugh. There is no stopping this company, what a miserable job that must be.
