i am also getting calls from this number i just posted my resume on monster.com and didnt put my cell phone number on there but the voicemail that i rcvd stated that it was american income wanting to offer me a job and to come in for an interview

don't even live in. i also posted my resume on monster.com and applied for jobs but only for local ones.
wondering if this is a scam, when i told the lady i had only applied in one state she said ok and hung up!?

appears to be a company that uses an automated program to snag peoples numbers off monster.com, or at least people with some post-secondary ed on monster.com.

what upset me is they someone got my info even though on monster my info is listed as private because i don't want employers contacting me with random spam offers.

from what i can tell it's an offer for a commission only sales position. so they're offering you a job but they take no risk, because they don't have to pay you anything by default.

if you're into insurance sales/commission only sales from what i can tell they are legit, website looks real, but i don't like any job where i don't have to get paid for my work as the default, and i don't generally trust hr departments that are this aggressive, especially in this economy where you don't have to be. that to me warns possible scam or at least an unneccesary unorthodox business tactic.

although admitadly one of my friends from high school makes a very good living off commission only sales, so if you're into sales, http://www.ailife.com/main/default.aspx was the website i found on them.

i'd call the call... legit, but questionable. it appears to be a legit contact for a possible job, but they're using kind of a spam approach and that's just not normal and is if not a red flag at least a yellow one.
