Saying a lawsuit had been filed on me. No one can seem to give me any specifics so i assume it's a scam

Called twice from unknown number. Left a message stating they are from the law offices of Jeff Scott and they are going to issue a warrant for arrest if they do not receive a call back to 315-203-3939. They have a lawsuit under social security number and need to hear back promptly. If they do not hear back good luck to you. Very heavy accent, sounds like from India. I looked up the info and noticed I'm not the only one getting these calls. They are scammers trying to get money from innocent people. Do not call them back. Do not give them any information. I contacted my legal service at work and they stated that if I had a warrant for arrest or a pending legal action I would have gotten something mailed to me. Not via text message or voice mail. Beware of these people.

received the same exact calls today. but if you try to call the number it is always busy. reported the number to friends in higher places and the BBB. Wish them "good luck"!

These morons somehow got my cellular phone number and have been making threatening, ridiculous calls and leaving voice messages. They talk about arrest and a case being filed against me. This is a total fabrication and absurd. That's not even how the legal system works in America. They mention my name and my social security number (that they don't even know) and how a "situation will unfold on me." Sheer nonsense to try to perpetrate a scam. They should worry about their own worthless carcasses going to prison.

I received the same exact message as did caller "Joe Schmoe".  They've called my cell before, but it's been awhile.  Same bull crap message.  This pisses  me off so much!  These [***] need to be stopped somehow.  This is a spam/scam call, but it is also a "Threatening" CALL.  Isn't there something illegal about that?????

Got a message just like the rest of the people here, but the only thing is that I do have a pending law suit . I'm not being racist or anything but why would a 711 employee call me and wish me good luck? For a sec I try to recall if I ever bought a lottery scratcher earlier this morning and he is wishing me good luck

I received the same thing from a Jeff Scott but he doesn't even mention a name for whom he's calling

These same people are calling my phone, So when I called back to get detailed information, suppose to be Jeff Scott hung up on me. I called back several times and there was no answer. YEP! it is a scam

I just recieved the same phone call today . They said they were calling from some law firm and if I do not call back what will happen to me in june. My identity was stolen a month ago im having a very hard time . Im now working with law enforcement to hammer these jokers . Heavy india accent

Left a voicemail from an unknown number saying his name was Jeff Scott and they just received a complaint on my name and SSN and a case has been filed against me... Its extremely time sensitive and if I don't return the call, the only thing he can do is wish me best of luck.

I got the same message everyone got just this morning and I did call back. The same person who left the message picked up the phone and told me that the Attorney Jeff Scott is unavailable and that he would email me the case file. He did not even get my email address, which was strange. I'm glad I didn't give anyof my info. I Googled the law firm he said he was from, Bennett Law Group and it's not even in the same state the area code is calling from.  Scam for sure.
