315-207-4761 is associated with 800-259-7187 that shows on CID though an 800 can't be an outdial

SO FRUSTRATING. At least 5 calls a day. When I call back it says "leave a message with name and number and someone will call you back."

315-207-4761  Several times called (per caller ID).  I was home to answer it this time. It came in as Out of Area, therefore when she mentioned my
name, I remarked there's nobody here by that name.  My number has been
unlisted for many years and still I get calls from marketers.  It is
frustrating.  Also, Verizon has a service where they can block all
the unwanted phone numbers.  So far all the calls stopped except this
one new one.  I can also put this number on the list also if I need to.
There is a small charge and you can cancel at any time.  My number must
have been on a list and I had to call Verizon for help. It worked.

Some girl ask for me by name and then hung up.

I received two calls from this number today.  I answered the second time.  The caller said it was with regards to information about universities that I had requested.  I had not requested any information.  I did not say it was me, so he kept asking when to call back, but I told him not to.  What was strange is that I heard someone laughing in the background.  It just seemed really shady knowing full well that I did not request any information about universities.

I started getting calls yesterday, had 4 yesterday and once so far today. I have yet to answer the calls.

I see someone said something about them asking about colleges. Did anyone sign up for Fast Web or Scholarships.com? I have been getting these since I filled out information for those websites.

I'm getting really sick of these calls. They have already called twice today (it rings twice but then nothing). Also starting today I've been getting calls from 1-800-259-7187. I've got three from them. I'm getting really frustrated. I wonder if AT&T can block numbers as well? I'm going to find them on Monday and find out.

Got one from this number too just a minute ago. I didn't answer.

This number keeps calling me nonstop and when I try to call it back it just says to leave a message and someone will call back it some kind of customer service line. I answered just a few minutes ago and I didnt say hi or snything and heard some girl talking to someone about going to NY.

Today I had several calls from this number.  Yes, I have registered in the past several weeks with FastWeb Scholarship search, but am already enrolled in an online degree course.

annoying! no one talks, they just hang up when i answer. i call back and its some lady for customer service

got 3 calls just today. just called back and got the same answering machine deal that others have reported. annoying!

How can this be stopped - who do we report this annoyance too? They just laugh and hang up

I just received a call also from 315-207-4761.  Actually, I've gotten several over the past few days.  When I don't answer, within 5 minutes the phone rings again, the number is 800-793-0282.  This always happens.  The "kid" said we had filled out a form on the internet requesting information on receiving a college degree.  Silly them, we have college degrees and would therefore have no use for their service.  I told him as much.  I think these people are fishing for personal information.  I told him to take our number off his list.  If he doesn't, they will be reported.  Not sure to who, but it sounded good at the time.  I didn't think of it at the time, but try to get as much information about them without giving anything away about you.

the little girl asked for me--
without saying much - i told her simply that I didn't want to get any more
harrassing calls from them-- she said " ok I'll call you back tomorrow" and hung up on me....!!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number all day. In the caller id spot it says Marketing. I have applied for a few jobs online but I already have a college degree. WTH!!!
