IRS scam. This is the scam that had bilked millions of dollars out of credulous people who panic when a synthesized voice informs them that the IRS is issuing an arrest warrant and that you need to call them at once.

Hung up on the call

Scammed us out of $500 in iTunes cards in Amberg Wisconsin.  Bought the cards at family dollar in wasaukee before my husband realize he was scammed. He was so bummed out.  I hope they catch this person because he's scamming from every body's hard days work pay.  All the while he sits on the phone and steal from the poor and the retired and even people who worked hard all day.

Called me and when I called back they said I was not in trouble., so they told me to hang up and I did not.  I listened to calls for several minutes and the abusive scammers trying to get people to send the money or the police would come to their house.  Advise.  Everyone should call them them and NOT hang up, so their phone bank get's plugged

Claim that I owe back taxes and have a warrant for my arrest.

They left  a message like the IRS would leave a recorded message

If we don't recognize a calling number we let the answering machine pick it up. When we listened to the message on the answering machine we heard a synthesized voice telling us that the IRS was going to have a warrant for our arrest served to if we didn't call back to 315.238.4534. Knowing that the IRS does NOT contact persons via phone we did not call the number.

Threatening they are from IRS and an arrest warrant has been issued in my name if I didn't cal the number back

Left me a voice mail to call back this very number. "The IRS is coming ti take me away, har har! coming to take me away, har har,! where life is happy all the time!

Same happened to me! Glad I looked up the number

Recorded message telling me I had committed fraud against the IRS. Would issue a warrant for my arrest if I did not call them back.

Very scary call. I just did my taxes with turbo tax and I get a refund, so this was abusive.

Received a fake call from IRS scammer trying to tell me I was under arrest.

Same as everyone else. IRS fraud, filing lawsuit and arrest warrant.

IRS scam call.

I got the same msg when I called back they said I needed to send as much if my debt as I could immediately and they would stay on the line with me while I did so, in order to stop the warrant from going out and put the remainder of my irs debt on hold and set up a pmt plan.  I almost did it. And now they keep calling like every 2 minutes.
