They said they were representing the US government and my name had been randomly selected to receive $9200.00 and that I had to call this number 315-277-3108 with a confirmation number they provided.  I never called - believe to be a scam..

If a charge has not gone through, you should call your card issuer or bank and see if any charge can be blocked.  Remember the US Government does not run drawings for cash or prizes like a game show.  And always be suspicious about someone asking for $ so you can claim prizes.

I recommend filing a fraud dispute with your bank or CC holder and also filing reports with the FTC & CFPB..

They called said the same thing everyone else has said. Government grant because off no bankruptcy...ect... I am disabled and no money told him that and confronted him on it, he said out has to do with the 2009 affordable care act or some other government relief effort. Pissed him off and he hung up. This scam has called me before and same results.

Got call same as the rest of you. But this is like the fourth time but they keep coming from blocked calls and have me call different numbers. There's a bunch of these threads out there. If you look the number up there in New York so I called one of the precincts therevand talked to a detective and gave him the info. Don't know if they did anything but I tried. So now I just act all excited and call the number they tell me to and cry and tell them how much have my 4 kids witj e and I promised them we would buy food so they didn't go to bed hungry again tonight.. And just continue to [***] with them till I get bored wasting their time or they hang up. Even had my girl friend get on acting I ke the money gram agent and she was telling them that her and another employee had paid it and gave them a fake ass number to just make them think they are getting it so it wastes even more of their time. You guys should turn it around on them .

I got a call, but I knew it was a scam from the get go. I had trouble understanding them and made him repeat things over and over. I kept telling him to slow down. The area code they gave is one I have never lived in. I called this number back and did the same thing. I had picked Walmart so he didn't have any bank info. Finally I told him to hold on and called my granddaughter to tell me what he was saying. Then he hung up. He never got to telling me how much money he wanted. He was a spoiled sport.

this number came up as unknown at 1st, then they stated i had won a grant in the amount of 9250. all i had to do was call them back at the 315-277-3108 number and they would get my money sent. i kept waiting for them to ask me for a deposit but they never asked. maybe that happens in the call back and with the grant number they gave me. i just love playing with these scam people!
