Trying to sell vehicle extended warranty, horrible accent.  Caller admitted to being in California.

Got a call from this number.  No message

I keep getting calls from this number. On average 3 to 4 times a week. How do I get them to stop? When I answer the call no one is there.

man with foreign accent wanted to know the mileage on my leased vehicle.  Since I am returning it today I thought it was legit. I told him 32 and he said I went over.  I said my contract is for 39,000. He hung up. I called the number back mad as hell and a recording said to call back during business hours (it was 12:15pm).  

Don't know who it is but they call 3 to 4 times a day for the last two weeks. Haven't been home to answer the phone. Glad I seen this site.

I have received multiple calls from that number, never answered it, never left a message. I called it around 2:00 pm and 2:20 pm several times no answer no business name only call back during business hours from 7 am to 4 pm pacific time Monday through Friday. I work in Skaneateles and I know the major, he or know one know that number. Dont answer it, just report it.

Have called 3 times in 2 days regarding my father's truck. My father has been dead for 2 years.  Asked what the company was on the 2nd phone call and the gentleman with the funny accent told me it was the "Auto Protection Unit". Asked him what company it was affiliated with and he stated that was the company name. Asked the gentleman on the 3rd call how my cell # is connected to his truck. Never gave me an answer and hung up.

Trying to sell vehicle extended warranty,  Would not answer my questions that tried to get at how she got my number and why she was calling me.  (We bought the car used and bought, and thus had, an extended warranty from a new car dealer.)  She got very "testy" and hung up.  I formed the opinion she was trying to scam me.

Where did she get the three datums: name, phone number, car make and model year, to attempt this over the phone sales attempt?

Suggest we all report this as a Do Not Call violation.  We can at least cause them the trouble of having to drop and replace the number.
