Said they were from IRS and suing me. Called them back and they answered IRS. Said they called me and they hung up.

There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers on both Canadian and USA residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

This phone call said it was from the IRS I do believe it is a scam.
Never call back any messages from a government agency since they will contact you by mail first

Yea right... they called at night...first of all since when does a govt agency work late hours!  They also said it was my final warning...meanwhile I was never contacted before in any way...Total [***]

Received this "final notice" repeatedly at all times of the day initiated from the number  938-565-3611.

Received voice mail stating final call from IRS, please call 315-307-3190.  I asked them to mail me information, but they said they were too busy.  Definitely a scam,  they were screaming at me and threatening me.  They also claim their address is 2011 Camden Avenue, Saratoga Spring, NY 11529.  

Total scam.  So is 718-201-8216.  Both numbers claim to be IRS.  Liars, thieves, cheaters!

Automated message from IRS saying they were suing me. First call was last night. Can we report them to the real IRS?

Keep receiving these threatening phone calls from this number. Said they are IRS and even said Internal Revenue Service.  Last call for class action suit???  Figured it had to be scam.  Extremely annoying. How do we get these to stop?

Left mssg. Saying they were trying to teach us and they are from IRS.. they are filing a Law suit against us! Shouldn't it be against the law to defraud the IRS???

Received several messages left on my voice mail from 315-307-3190 stating they were from the IRS and this was a final notice.  They were suing me.  So, I called, knowing the IRS does not contact anyone by phone unless you have been assigned an auditor.  I was going to go along with the call and when they asked me for my banking or credit card number that's when I would have said "What do you think I'm a dumb ass"?  But instead, what I received was a message stating the number has yet to be assigned to a customer.  Scam Artist!!
