This guy is def a scam artist.. see the below app he sent me. I almost feel like sending it back with some choice words but I shall rise above :-)  Towards the end, Im not sure if it's even in English.

When was the last time you rented a house that came with a Kettle?   It might be useful to boil the "Missionary" landlords.

Really.  Renting out a house in GA with a kettle?   I'll sign up right away.  Stupid West African scammers.  Always give themselves away.

A Kettle?  And the kitchen has water and heat included?  This is a sweet rental.  If they tossed in for running the air conditioner...  A/C is important since those kettles throw off a lot of heat, especially the popular wood-fired kettles.

I did not get a call from this number.  But, found the number in a listing on Craigslist for a rental in Woodbridge, VA

I recieved a call from ( no caller ID ) on my phone.  I answered.  In short the guy said he was the one renting the townhouse from Africa.  He asked me when I wanted to move in and what I wanted to pay.  He said, today we start with $500.  I said, no I will meet you at the property with your agent. He said he can't he's in Africa.  I said, how will I get the keys? He responded with I will mail them to you.  I replied, with no and forget it.  He then said F $&@ You, a couple of times and kept cursing.

I am a real estate agent and listed my own rental house for lease at $3200 in the MLS.  All of a sudden this guy stole my photos and my ad and posted an ad on Craigslist at the rental rate of $1100 monthly.  I was bombarded by people wanting to rent it of course.  I also got the same form email reply when I set up a sting.  It has happened to me before so I was onto them already, however, what I notice each time is that they say their name is the name of my previous tenant which there is no way in the world they would know this information unless they were reading my emails at some point.  That is pretty scarey.  The last one actually used the name of my tenant's son who lived in another state. That one really baffled me.  I report them to the FBI as they are a real nuisance.
