Just got one to my home number.  No one on the line.

Received a call from this number told the party they are calling an elderly persons phone over and over and it is becoming a nuisance and disturbing their lives since we aren't always  in good health to answer unnecessary calls. The party laughed at me and hung up.

Just got a call from this same number, but didn't answer it. They did not leave a message.

they keep calling me once a day.  I have NO debt which I'm very proud about but they can help me consolidate mine.  When I hit 1 to talk to an employee, they hang up.  I don't understand how they get away with this.

315-436-6239 calls my home every day and says this is the final call to reduce my credit card accounts. I held the line to speak to a represintative, told them I have no credit cards and they hang up every time before I have a chance to ask them to take my number off of their call list. Is there anything I can do to get them to stop? I have gotten this final call every day atleast two times a day for the past three months.

I keep getting a call from this number identifying themselves as "card services"  with the message that they can lower my payments.  When I press one to speak with a "friendly representative" the person asks if I called to get my rates lowered and when I start to ask how to get off their list they hang up on me.

Me too. Ugh it's annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Just got a call from this number.  Didn't answer because it was name unavailable.   No message left.

Just received a call from this number and called it back received a message stating " sorry the person you called has not yet set up their mailbox" This a New York area code I do not have friends or family in New York.

I continue to get calls left on my answering machine from 315/436 6239.  My number has been listed on the "do-not-call" list for several months.  They do not say the name of the company.  It is to refinance credit card balances.  I do not every carry over a balance on any credit card.

Ditto.  Claiming to be Credit Card Services and able to reduce my credit card rates.  Last call before closing the file.  Press '1' to speak with a representative.

My mom is elderly and has been receiving calls from them for about a month now. She finally let me know and we have reported them to the FTC through the National Do Not Call Registery website. She does not own a credit card and does not have any debt. When she pressed 1 to tell them that, they hung up on her.
According to the DNCR, they can't stop these individually, but they will look into them and possibly file criminal charges on the company. I believe if enough people file a complaint then it will throw a larger flag up so they will, hopefully, be able to stop them sooner.

don't call me anymore

I just received a call from this number with "Wireless Caller" listed on the caller ID.  No real business would or should call from a cell phone.  I did not answer and they left no message.

I just got a call from this number. The message said this was our last chance to take the opportunity to lowering our interest. Must owe minimum $3000. Please hit 1 if you are interested. I hit one and the women ID herself as Anita and said "you are interested in the offer....but I said "No you people continue to call me........and she hung up on me". I tried calling the number back but all you get is "I'm sorry but the mailbox is full". This company whoever it is has called at least a dozen times.  Anyone else having this problem?

I don't have any debt.

I know that we have no credit debit. Still I wanted to know WHO was calling and WHY they were actually calling.

When I asked who they are and why are they calling they hang up instead of answering a legitimate.

This is a SCARE TACTIC to get unsuspecting people to divulge financial information.

Do not give them any information. If they are legitimate then they would be willing to divulge WHO they are and WHY they are calling.

Another thing, when you ask them to STOP calling you they hang up on and still continue to call.  So if you ask once it does not matter that they hang up they ARE in the wrong by 1) using a recording, 2) by continuing to call even after being asked to, 3) REFUSING to divulge who they are, and 4) REFUSING to say why they calling your phone number.
PLEASE go to the National Do Not Call Registry and file a complaint.  The more complaints the faster they can get those scammers.
