    Computer scam! Says they're from Windows administration but have really heavy accent. If your phone has a Reject feature, add them to that list.

    Sandy;

    You've got a problem that will probably require major computer surgery. DO NOT EVER allow someone your don't know to install software on your computer. The Internet is a Jungle and we are all prey.

    Just got a call, caller ID read: "New York". A man with an accent ID himself as "support for Microsoft Windows". He asked, "Are you having problems with your computer." I said, "Who is this." He hung up. I ignored it as a telemarketing call, but checked my computer and made sure all my security software was up to date. I called the number back a few hours later just to see who it was. It just rang, no answer. If I have any problems I will report here.

    Caller with heavy Indian (Continental) accent claimed there was a problem with our Windows computer. As soon as I said that I knew the call was a fraud (we don't use such computers), caller hung up.

    My phone rang three or four times.  I answered and there was no answer after I said "hello."  I said "Hello"  three more time.  The third time I said "hello in a very loud voice and said the word slowly.  I then received what sounded like a pre-recorded "good-bye;" however it was hard to tell for sure whether or not it was pre-recorded.  The accent was sort of American with slight vestiges of a British-American accent, and  a young sounding woman's voice.  I plan to report the call as a Do Not Call List violation.  I called back the number and received the recording that the number had been disconnected.  I also entered the number on my blocked number list.  I have been receiving unauthorized phone calls, telemarketer and crank calls now for the past 15 years.  Never a week goes by in which I do not receive once such call.  Yest4rday, Sunday, I received not pre-recorded call but a calls from a local auto dealership about a model of car which a do not own, from a dealership I have never use.  I do not know whether or not any of this is related.

    Saw this number on my "missed calls" and decided to check out what it might be for and found this information. We got a call last week from a scam number at 6:30am, which also was a number connected to the Microsoft scam,  and a few days prior to that a SKYPE number claiming to be calling for DISH TV - also a scam. It's crazy and disgusting, as well!!
