I received a call this morning on my cell and at my place of employment.  I was told that I have three felonies which are scheduled for court tomorrow.  I was threatened with arrest and loss of employment, and when I asked about the nature of the charges, the caller hung up.

I just received two calls from this number that were very threatening as well..


How do we get these people to stop calling us??!

I filed a complaint with the FTC and State Attorney's office, but I am not sure if it will help because I didn't get the name of the company, they need that information to launch an investigation.  I've tried calling them several times and got no answer.

I just received a call from this number as well. I do not answer these calls. I let them go to voice-mail. It stated that if I, or my attorney of records does not return the call, he can only wish me good luck as this situation unfolds. Caller's name that was given was Brad

received the same call as steffanie did. the spanish sounding caller that left the message said his name was BRAD as well.

I received the same message from the same person. I knew it had to be false because it did not pertain to a person and what it was about.

It's all bs, don't respond, if you applied for a online payday loan they are trying to con you into sending them money and submit it through to them via a pre-paid card. These idiots called me in september I hung up on the dude. It's all fake.

I just received the same type of call only about 1 hour ago: 3:22pm from the same number.

The caller said the same to me. "good luck and god bless"

this number called me today also called some of my family members  said if me or my retained attorney did not notify them ASAP I would  arrested, stated his name as Eddie

I received the same call/unspecified threat.  Brad left a message without using my name or offering any information other than a threat ending in "God help you."

I also received a voicemail from Brad.  I just called the number back and a man answered "Criminal Justice League and Loan Services".  When asked to repeat the name, he started asking me for my personal information.  I told him I had the wrong number and hung up.  If I recall correctly, I believe I received the same type of call from these people over a year ago.  They must scare enough people into sending them money that they can continue.

Yup - same message - I've gotten this one before from another number.  Threatening legal action etc.  Bogus.  They also send emails too so bewared.

A guy called and asked for me with my married name and I said I am that person but now go by my maiden name. The guy hung up on me. I called back after blocking my number .They asked me to confirm the last 4-digits of my SS# and I told them I am not going to verify or confirm anything til I know why they are calling me. Then the man said that they couldn't discuss anything with me and they would just have my employer "Kroger" served with papers and I just said "ok" and he said "OK BYYYEYY" very loud and sarcastic. I haven't worked at Krogers for over a year...plus, I got an email with a similar thing where they had my full SS# and my name with my married name, however, and my old address........people would make more money by working a legit job - how do these people sleep at night?

Just had a call from this number.  I didn't recognize it so I answered.  He immediately asked for my attorneys info.  I actually have one and gave him the info.  When I asked what it was about he said I was going to have 3 criminal charges filed on me in the State of Texas.  I informed him NY has no jurisdiction to file in the State of Texas.  He became Irate with me because I know the law.  When I asked what the charges were he would not tell me.  You have a right to be informed of all charges which will be filed against you.  I informed him of this and he said We will serve you at your job and you will lose your job, go to jail, and have nothing when we are through.  I asked him where I worked and when he got that wrong I laughed at him again.  This made him so mad he shouted at me in some foreign language and hung up.  I called the real NY State Division of Criminal Justice after the call to confirm it was all a scam.  The Gentleman I spoke to confirmed it was a scam that has been targeting consumers for a while.  They target anyone who has applied for loans online such as car loans, pay day loans, etc.  This makes sense since I just bought a car last week and had to get online approval first.  I called the number back to get the information since I had found out I needed to report it to the Do not call List since I am registered.  I also found out I can file a police report with my local jurisdiction.  When I called back the number the same guy answered.  He gave me the name of Kevin Miller, but could not spell it correctly.  He cave me the same Business name as before.  He had trouble when I asked him for an address that I could give to my attorney. He kept demanding my name.  When I said you just called me how can you not know who this is.  Do you really try to scam that many people a day? He got mad at my witty comments.  he then started saying we will file the charges in the morning and take all you have.  I hung up on him.  the have called back 3 time and left messages.  Just more info for the feds and the police.  Don't let these people scare you or intimidate you.  I had fun making him mad.  Give it a try next time.
