Left a message saying that I am being sued by the IRS

I got the same message about being sued by the IRS.  i'm pretty sure that is not how the IRS communicates with people.

Answering machine picked up.  Caller said I was being sued by the IRS etc.

I just got this call too. What was the point?

At 5:45 am this number called me i did not answer but was left a voice mail with an automated bogus accusation, no company identification.  Only a threaten bogus accusation.

I just received the same call that I am reading from other comments on this thread. "This is a final notice regarding a lawsuit being filed against you by the IRS; call us at: 315-623-0925." They are clearly getting their info from some sort of public record, or possibly a hack, because 3 days ago I received a letter from the real IRS telling me they never received my 2014 tax return. No lawsuit, just a: Where the hell is your tax return letter :)

Received a voice message at 6:20 AM this morning.  Very choppy the only thing I could understand was "Law Suited filed against me" and to call this number.  So I called the number from a blocked phone.  (I knew it was a scam, but thought that I would have some fun.)  The very Asian Indian sounding person was clueless as to why I would be calling.  So I hung up.  Just another scam, and a very poor one at that!  Everyone knows that lawsuits are served by phone...

I also got a call from this number - it was an automated message saying they have been trying to contact me saying that the IRS was supposedly going to sue me. The same message the other users here got. I am convinced this phone call is a scam - our household has no IRS problems and we are in other words in practically perfect standing with the IRS. I love this site for help in determining if phone calls are a scam like these, which does happen.

I always tell them that the have called our local police Tip Line........

just got this on my message machine this afternoon.  also stating I am being sued by the IRS.  Funny,because I received a refund this year.  Maybe they want it back!!!  lol  BS and bogus!!

I also received a fake call from this phone number yesterday and today that I'm being sued by irs. That is not how irs works. They never call.
