Male with an Indian accent called to inform me that I owed the IRS $85,000. If the money wasn't paid I would go to jail for sometime. He told me that I could settle the issue if I paid right now $7,500. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD

Received an automated call from this number urging me to call back because of some legal court thing - this is a scam of course. Did not call back, and you shouldn't either.

Called 3 times left message "A Legal Claim has been filed against you Please call before sending to County Court House" 315 636 0923.
Indian Accent Officer Sean Davis answers for IRS....doesn't like blow horns evidently as he hung before telling how much I could send him...got to void another blank check!

this #called and had my info and spoke if same issues.  How do you stop scammers

Got 2 phone calls this morning from the number listed above. I called back and yes a man with an Indian accent claiming he is with the IRS. When I confronted him about this being a scam and contacting the local authorities to report the number, he hung-up. I feel bad that others  will be fooled and fall into this trap. Shame on them for taking advantage of people. What is this world coming to?

They called my work in Mass. I grilled the man about the details. He hung up on me. I am going to send the information to the police

Robo-call referring to future lawsuit !!! Obvious SCAM.

Got a call from this number...it is FRAUD.  Report the call to the IRS at www.tigta.gov, they are aware of the scam and are investigating.

Had 2 messages today on phone.  called back and got the same indian sounding man who began by asking my name - i said he called so he should know my name, finally hung up on him.

He called me twice yesterday about my court date & docket number. When I called back he said IRS...I also said, you should know who I am. How do I know you are the IRS? I need to investigate this. Then he hung up on me and when  I called back but got no answer.

Call stated they were from the IRS and if I did not comply they will have me arrested

Man with accent from India Sean Davis claimed to be IRS officer and tell me I owed back taxes in amount of 8700. He threatened to send IRS, local police and even Homeland Security to my home to seize all property and arrest me with 30 minutes. This is a hug scam and used to scare and intimidate people into giving them money. Do Not give them any personal info or money!!!!!!! I have made a report with my local police department in San Antonio, TX as well as the IRS and the FBI. They are aware of this scam and already investigating.

Now says his name is Marshall Davis and was just compative and obstinant. File a complaint as soon as they call.

law suit filed in your name.  Called back they said it was for my daughter who does not use this number ever. Scam.

Got 3 back to back computerized calls informing me of a lawsuit.  This a SCAM!!!  Do not call back!!!  Contact police immediately.

Receiving several calls from this number.  When I did talk with someone, it was a man with an indian accent.  He told me it was the IRS and wanted to know how many men I had slept with?!  Told him that was non of the IRS's business and he said if I was a virgin it would reduce down the amount of money I owe the government.  Obviously I hung up but now he keeps calling.

Received call from this number glad I looked it up. I will report as necessary.  Fraud. Hung up b4 I could answer, but saw this. Thank you

This person knew my name and where I live at. He threatens to put a levy on my home and bank accounts. He said he was an IRS agent.  I told him I never got calls from the IRS.  The IRS does not call you they send a letter.  This number should be shut down immediately!!!!!

Most of these calls are coming out of India and Pakistan.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
