Got a call from this number claiming they are Microsoft Security and that there is malware on my PC and they want to 'remote' into your computer to 'fix' it.
WARNING!!!! This it a total scam to take control of your computer and actually INSTALL malware!!!
HANG UP AND REPORT THEM!!!

They called my phone and said that Microsoft was sending error messages the problem is I am military and had not been home... And all my computers are apple

someone who said his name was Pham or Phan claiming to be from Microsoft and needed to access my computer due to errors. Told him I didnt have a computer and stop calling me and then I blocked the number.

Get calls like this all the time from various numbers... Always someone with a thick Indian accent and they claim to be from "Windows" and my computer is reporting an error message to them... Sometimes I immediately call BS on them then hang up; but, if I have time, I like to mess around with them for a little bit before I slam the door on them. My favorite ways to end the call is to tell them that I work for Microsoft Licensing, and I happen to know that it is company policy to NEVER cold call a customer regarding any computer problem. Or, sometimes I like to play dumb and let them start to "walk me through" the remote access process, then tell them "Wait, I don't have any of those menu options... is that because I don't have Windows, I have OS X???"  In either case, they usually hang up before I get a response.. and then I don't get a call from that particular number again.

I just got a call from this number about Microsoft Windows and that my Laptop was badly infected. I told them I was not interested and hung up.  This is a scam they need to be taken down.

They called, I didn't recognize #, so didn't answer.  No message left.

Getting numerous calls from this number. No one is on line when I pick up. The call doesn't even connect when I call back.  How do I stop them from calling if no one answers the call? Annoyed is an understatement!!

Shut off any answering device if you're able, and let the phone ring. That often wards them off. Certainly do NOT return calls to mystery numbers. Takes patience and tolerance to do it. Otherwise, perhaps a call blocker could help.

Got a call. Didn't answer. No message. Blocking.

These people called me twice yesterday, and when I told the caller that I knew he was a scammer and that I knew that nothing was wrong g with my computer and that I wanted him to never call me again, he screamed at me in a thick Indian accent that he would keep calling.

just got a call from this number did not answer and they did not leave a message. Thanks goodness i didn't answer thanks guy for posting.

Indian accent said he was calling from the government however caller ID read Marietta NY. He wanted to give us a free 9000 dollar education gift. who can we report this to to get rid of him for good?

This scamming [***] is getting out of control.  This people dont understand just as i can go through the front door I can go through the back door to. I like to play with them when they say I have a goverment grant its ether 9200.00 are lower. Then after the BS I let them know that the gov will not call my phone to tell me that at all only way is throw the mail are To my door they wont call know body on their phone. And yes its always an person from India

I just received a call from this number, person sounds like he is from India.  He said my name and phone # were selected by the US Government to receive a $4200 grant.  I asked what it was for, he just kept saying it was a grant that I would never have to pay back, it was free money from the government.  I said I didn't want a "Grant", then he asked me "Who doesn't want a free grant?"  I told him that I have received about 50 calls in the last 2 months from people like him, and that I was tired of hearing from them.  He laughed and then hung up.

I get scam calls from this number.  Before it was Microsoft & now IRS.  People always have a very heavy accent.

It's guys like you that make living bearable, even almost fun. Thank you for your sense of of humor, I wish I knew you personally, need someone like you in my life very badly. I'm not joking, I'm sad and you made me smile.
