- Enough!| 2 repliesA person with horrible speaking skills (sounds like grunts and 1 syllable "words") calls and says he is calling about a "personal business matter" and needs to speak with the owner. Then he says he is calling from "IPA".
I would LOVE for this company to be reported. They are unprofessional to say the least and border on harrassment. I told them I will be reporting their # and company which made them hang up on me and call right back.- Caller: IPA
- annon. We got the same call, unsolicited, they keep calling asking to speak with the owner. They wont disclose why, very cryptic - referencing some business matter their following up on.
- Caller: can't remember what they said
- Joe Henry was the caller| 1 replyI obviously aggravated the hell out of him when I asked who he was with. Yay.
- Caller: Couldn't get it from him
- RELENTLESS| 1 replyThese people continually call our business with the same tactics: refuse to say the company name, claim it is personal call for our president, and pretend they know him. The business is called International Profit Associates (IPA-IBA)and can be reached at 1-800-531-7100. Ask for client services and tell them you are being harassed and to put your number on the internal do not call list. They seemed very cooperative.

- I get calls all the time replies to Joe Henry was the callerI get calls all the time from this number. IPA-IBA are business consultants that will not take no for an answer.

- Carol - Buffalo NYJust called my place of business, said is name is Mark Phillips calling from the office of Andrew Rogers & was rude- wanted to speak to Alan, I said which Alan & he said is he in & I asked who's calling - sent him straight to VM. don't mess w/ me - you will not get through!
- What!I am a receptionist and received this call to my business, the man on the other end was very very friendly, almost too much so, and want to speak to my boss, who does not go by his first name! Knew this was a scammer. Hang up!
- Phillip replies to Enough! They called my company to set up an appointment. The man who called was telling, not asking, about them coming. Then he transferred me to a man who was supposed to record and verify our agreement.
I said, "Wait a minute. I can't expose my company to someone I don't know. Send me some information about you. I'll discuss it with my board and let you know."
He said, "OK, I'll send you some information." and then hung up.
The next day another guy called. I said, "Someone from your company already called. And he hung up on me."
The guy said, "I won't hang up."
But as soon as I asked him to send me information about their company, he hung up. - ticked off replies to RELENTLESSI did exactly what you suggested when my company started receiving the calls from that 315 number. The client services rep said it would be taken care of today.
BTW -IPA has changed their name or been bought out by another firm. - maybek8eSales call.
Calls multiple times per day for "the owner of the company". Caller ID says "Business Today".
And the call goes a little like this "ya, hi, ya. Owner of the business please", me "sorry the owner is not available would you like his voicemail?", "oh, that's too bad, sure that sounds great thank you so much". Really? Do sales people not have better skills than this?- Caller: Business Today

- Buffalo GirlGot 3 calls today (so far! it is only 425pm, so we will see) Girl named "Nicole" calling for my Boss, I ask her company name and purpose of call- I forget what company she claims she is from...she said it is regarding "information he requested- is he available?!? (I hate when telemarketers do this- I find it rude and pushy and ver arrogant) so, on the first call (at 1032am) I actually tried his line and he did not pick up, so I asked if she wanted voice-mail, she responded yes so I dropped her in. She called again at 226pm, and i recognized the number and name when I asked her, I asked if my Boss had called back and she said "no" and I asked if she had left a message to which she responded "yes" and later I found out she had NOT in fact left a message, i told her that if my Boss was interested, he would return the call, and she says " there is nothing to be interested in. Is he is in the office?!" I told her to hold on and put her directly into his voice-mail and then went back to confirm that not only did he NOT know her, the number or anything about it, but that she had not left him a message ANY of the times she had called. I hope she calls tomorrow so I can have some fun.

- Buffalo GirlCalled pretty much first thing this morning- claimed his name was "Dave Toft"and he was "Business Today" and he had "reps in our area doing surveys..." bla bla bla...i looked at the number and saw it was the same number that had called 3 times yesterday, and never left a message. I told "Dave" this and he responded with "oh really?!" and I said "Yes" and he replied "ok, then nevermind" I said "ok. thanks" and hung up the phone. Let us see how many times they call us today...
- Caller: "Business Today"
- Call type: Survey
- Buffalo Girl -Again"Nicole" called again for my Boss- still cannot pronounce his name even though she has been placed into his voicemail countless times at this point. apparently she does not bother to listen. She asked for my boss by first name, and since we have several by that name I ask for "which one". she replies with his last, and says she is "calling back" and "is he in?" I replied with "you are calling him back? did you speak to him today?" (Knowing full well she had not because he is out of town) and she was honest and said "No I didn't speak to him, is he available?" (Very Pushy, this Lady) I said hold on a moment and put her into his voicemail. :-)

- Buffalo Girl- Yet AGAINthis company is AWFUL- this is how the conversation went this time: (Currently he is on hold waiting for my Boss)
Me- "Thank you for calling, how may I help you?"
Company- "Is "Joe" in?"
Me- "Which Joe?"
Company- "Joe Smith- Is he in?"
Me- "Where are you calling from?"
Company-"This is John Horsham" (or something) "is it possible to speak with Joe?"
Me "ok- where are you calling from?
Company gives me an answer (i forgot) and then immediately asks for him again and whether they can speak to him
Me "What is this in regards to?"
Company- "This is a business matter-Can i speak to Joe?"
Me- "sure- but he asks me all the same questions I just asked you, so hold on please"
And then I came here- see that theses a$$hats have called before with the same Bull$hit, so he was on hold for about 3 minutes until i transferred him to voice-mail....
How do these businesses stay functioning???- Caller: forgot what A$$hat said
- Buffalo girl-Yep AgainCalls and asks for my boss- says he called on 15th (yep you did- I see my post above where you called) and said my Boss wasn't in (yes he was. he just doesn't want to speak to you A$$hats- and you think you are above leaving a voice-mail so IF by chance he IS interested, he could return you scammy phone call)
Once again- the guy is reluctant to give ma any information- I ask where he is calling from and after every answer he basically asks for my Boss again. when I ask what he is calling about he tries telling some long winded answer if wanting to invite my Boss to some meeting...bla bla bla...."
He went on hold and then he went into his voice mail...where he will continue to go each and EVERY time they call- unless Boss tells me he is actually interested in speaking with them- Caller: BTI
- bv| 1 replyReceived 2 calls today. Total of 11 calls since 8/8. Always asks for the owner. I told a lady earlier he was probably gone already. A few minutes ago a guy called and I stated to him I spoke to the lady earlier and told her he was not here. He said that was his assistant. I asked if I can help him with anything seeing they called about 10 times already since 8/8. Said no and hung up.
Not that stupid! - Beyond Aggravated"John" called me today, and today the name of the company was "BT Service". He was calling for my boss, but had the same MO- asks for boss- gives no info- I have to drag the information out of him of where he was calling from, what this was regarding, bla bla bla. after every answer he asks fr my Boss again. when I asked what he was calling in regards to he said "a business matter" So he went on hold until he hung up. Going to waste as much time of his as he wastes of mine. "Hey Buddy! You are not getting through!!"
- Caller: BT Service
- BV replies to bvGot another called today. Lady called this time again. I hear her still talking in background finding name to ask for. She then asked for a dale. I asked her what the name was again. And she goes on to say what is the owner of the company. You already know because you were just talking in background going over names!!!! I told her he is with a client and I can take a msg. Also, stated they have called 12 times so far again from 8/8. She insisted on telling me she was going to call back because she needed to speak to him.
Not happening!
