received call today.  Caller used alias Leo Smith from company Ask Remote Xpert.  This was fraud as he was trying to hack my computer.

Just received a call but could not hear where he said he was from.

It is Sunday evening.  Just received a call from this number.  It was a female trying to tell me there was something terribly wrong with the Windows on my computer!   I did tell her that I was very busy and if she would give me her home number I would return her call when I had time.  She didn't want to do that! lol  She kept insisting she had to help me with my computer.  I hung up!  Glad I did.

everything the same, except my computer was subject to virus  infiltration and I needed to open my computer for him.  Sorry, no can do !!

oh, this is getting good!!!!! They've called 3 times today alone - a male with a HEAVY accent (Indian?) is telling me that if I give him the name of any prescription drugs I take, he will send them to me for a discount.  I asked him if he needed a doctor's prescription and he said no, that his company is licensed and can send them to me and the "P.O. Box will ask you to show your prescription when you pick it up"  He said they are from Lakeland, FL - I asked how they didn't need a prescription and he said their company has a "license" - I said I was going to report them for selling prescription drugs with no prescription and he said they have a license

so looks like they've moved past the "your computer has a virus" scam (which they also called me about) and are now on the prescription drug kick

anyone know who I can report this number to about the prescription drug scam?

This scammer told me that somebody hacked my computer. There is a virus residing in my junk mails. They are a service providers for Microsoft. He asked to open up my computer and I would see the error messages. I asks his name. He is Raul Ortan. He was calling from Toronto ha said. But 315 is not an Ontario area code. He left me a number 1-855-234-8747. This number is supposedly a Toronto number. He has a thick East Indian accent. I told him why will I deal with a person that I don't know. I said I will phone him back. I never did.
What is the police doing about these people behind these calls? Is this enough that we just report these calls? For what then? To scare these crooks just by writing here?

I have gotten 6 calls in the last 3 days from this guy with an indian accent tellig me he is calling about my medication that he can send me.  Each time I tell him I am on the do not call list and to stop calling me and then I hang up on him.  Who is this guy and how do you get him stop calling.  He has called late at night and on thanksgiving day. How rude.

what thanksgiving is either..probably will call on Christmas day as well..i  block them all until my phone is full and won't hold anymore.....calls from all over the usa and Canada..have these [***] nothing better to do with their time?

Received a call from this number earlier today. Did not answer. See from above postings that it's the Microsoft scam from India.

I have answered such calls earlier. One time I blew an air horn to give the caller something to remember; the other time, I pretended to go along with the scam and asked 1,000 questions and sounded as if i were 5 years old. The person eventually gave up in desperation.

I figure they deserve such treatment. No one in the Third World will get ahead by scamming people in the First World!

Well a guy Rishav from 99 York St , Toronto Canada can only understand Hindi. He says he is a Microsoft tech and needs to get on my computer. There must be something we can do about these hackers. I told him to take me off the call list and he said he didn't understand me. I am so tired of their harassing calls.

Wednesday afternoon, had a call just now much like yours, Susan, says he's in Florida, meds come from Panama, firm name something like ASK Rx Perts, lol. Same accent, east indian, probably same number as has called with the phoney Microsoft business, it's all about getting your personal info by  whatever means. Saw the other day that someone has put a taser unit on one of those little four-prop drones, well soon i'd like to see one designed for scam calls, tasteful red button on the phone unit, zap the source in timely fashion, pffft bingo, deemed an educational tool of course, non-taxable

I have received four calls in the UK 26 May 2014 from the number your caller quoted you 1-855-234-8747.  As with you, the caller asked me to open up my computer as he had received error messages and it needed fixing.  I have received other calls like that but never had someone speak so insistently before.  I was polite the first time and said I did not need help but would check it out myself.  He called me back immediately saying "Why did you put the phone down?" as if I had personally insulted him!  After I put the phone down again he immediately called 2 more times, these times I did not answer.  I think it is very intrusive and wish these people could be stopped.

I just received a call from Paul who wants to change my CLS ID.I didn't provide any info. I informed him if there is anything wrong with my computer in the future I will be contacting the police, I am tired of these telemarketers harassing my family

I have had at least 1 call per week for the last 3 - 4 weeks from this number.  Indian/Pakistani sounding man - used the name Mark Williams today - wanting to connect to my computer to show me where the problem with my computer is.  Told him I was not in from of my computer and would not be for some time.  Asked for his number and he gave me this number to call him back.  Obviously a scam!  Be Ware!
