Called and left no message

Called, but nobody responded  when the phone was answered.

This is a a company calling to solicit funds for St Jude's charity

I already give monthly to St. Jude's so I don't know why these people are calling me. I don't know anyone in Antwerp, NY so I did not answer and will not answer any calls where I do not recognize number or area code and, ESPECIALLY, where no message is left. All scammers as far as I am concerned. If really important, LEAVE A MESSAGE.

Caller said from new york state (something or other - couldn't understand).   Asked that he place us on Do Not Call list - too many nuisance calls!!!

Got a call from them.......did not answer.... but called the number back...The recording said it was NBS or
NPS,  a National Organization that specializes in soliciting for charities, non-profit organizations and political parties.

Just called and left no msg.

They reached my answering machine on 6/11, 6/18 and 6/23.  Left  no message.

Called 6/23/15. Answering machine..Left no msg.

Called and left no message every day for the last few weeks. Finally answered the other number and it was Habitat for Humanity...and apparently this one is St. Jude.

Apparently the numbers are owned by a company that solicits money for charities. I was getting calls from this number and another number multiple times a day for the last 2 weeks. This is not how you get people to keep donating to your charity. It was bordering on harassment.

I got a few phone calls from this number, found this site, and I called them back just now. Yes they are some NY solicitor for charities, something about Law bla bla bla. When the guy picked up my call he sounded professional and mature, not a millenial. He knew exactly who I was so they have sophisticated predictive dialers, etc as equipment. I just said quickly to please put me on their do-not-call list, he said ok, and I hung up. Hope this helps.

Call from Hillary wanting money

I also give to St. Jude's monthly and this person thanked me for that but wanted to "save money on monthly mailing" and asked for a credit/debit card number so that it could be automatically deducted from my account. I told him my wallet was not near me at that time, I didn't have the time right then. He said he would call back in a couple of days. I will not be giving them my info; if it really is St. Jude's, they will receive my monthly check directly to them.

Called and left no message. A legitimate important caller would leave a message. If I don't recognize the number I don't pick up. That way I avoid talking with scam artists .

Called land line.  Left no message.  Caller ID reads, "Antwerp NY".  I don't ever answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize.
