When I get these calls I turn off the voice mail and the ringer and let it ring silently forever. Gives me plenty of time to check the number here and decide if it might be a live person I can mess with or just a robot that needs to be hung up on.

Recorded message that begins "Hi, this is Sharon your Google specialist..."

OH YEAH!  Sharon!  She's changed numbers, hasn't she?  Can't fool me though.  Didn't answer!

caller ID says "LOCAL" not....

Got a call on my cell which is on the DNC list.  Whenever this happens I google the number and if I find the number on 800 notes I identify them trash and mark them as such in my contacts so that I can avoid calls in future.

Part of a phishing scam to phone numbers acquired through major US retailer data breaches.

called received. did not answer. no message left. my phone is on Do Not Call list.

It says Sharon from Google....opted out and it they still call.  They should be fined.

I busted them last night for calling me. The federal trade commotion does not allow sale calls to be done by robo dialing. So I called them out and they cant not answer back. I told them they are not part of Google and that they are a low life 3rd party. I told them they are calling a cell phone and that was braking the law. Also told them my number was on the don't call list also braking the law. So if you get the call from them let them have it. just like I did.

WTF these [***] are blowing up my phone today. If you ignore the call they let it ring and ring.

Keep getting calls from these 3rd party "Google Specialists" from an LA area code. Finally answered, pressed 1 to speak to a rep and told them this is not only a cell phone but also a number on the do not call registry. Bitc* put me on hold with music which then terminated the call after a few seconds. They have called me daily which I finally blocked the number and now they are calling me from this number. REPORT THEM TO THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!

Called twice @ 4:42pm today - Didn't Answer - Then a call right after from an "Unidentified Caller"!!!!

while it may be temporarily satisfying, reaming them out does not accomplish anything.  they know that 99% of the people they call will not respond positively.  It's a numbers game.
