I have no idea where this call is coming from onto my kids cell. Does any recognize it?

people usually get these calls after ordering drugs off the internet. If your kid is a teenager you might want to have a talk with them

I just got a call from this number, and I have never ordered medications of any kind online.  This is probably just some computer-generated solicitation call phishing around.

I just got this number that call my phone and "WARNING" I have NEVER ordered drugs off the internet and I am the only person who uses this phone.  "Warning" your information is inncorrect.  I figured it was a call to lower my mortgage or get rid of debt.

Hi I just receive a call from this number too. The message said that is a credit card bussines but when I called them back nobody answered.

New unknown phone number calling from Syarcuse, NY.  Don't have any business dealing with any company in NY nor know anyone in NY.  I don't do mail order prescriptions as I do not need to take any medicine of any kind.  Caller hung up once my answer machine started talking.

Got  call from this number yesterday. Woman voice - recording - said that they will be in my area and offer instal some free Alarm-security system... i didn't wait the end, and pushed '1', since I knew already what is going on. Day before I received the same reason calls but from another - 401 515 8122, then I said, "You are in RI, it is not my state, how you going instal your free system here?"  Woman was confused and hang up the phone immediately. I felt that here is something wrong there...
So, this time woman (315-701-3357 call) was smarter, recording bagan with " soon we are coming to your area". When I pushed '1' it was real woman, who answered and she was asking if I'd like to instal the free alarm system. I said "you call me second times but from another phone with the same offer. please remove." She said, "OK." All these calls are suspisious,  and calling people, seams, looking for others private information.

Also, yesterday I received email with the same alarm system offer "Receive a Free ADT Alarm System", it came from IP: 208.53.181.10 , sender Domain Address - www.jetbooster.com

I just got a new number, and this is the first unknown call I've gotten. They didn't leave a message, but glad I got some answers this time then when I normally type in a number to google and get no hits.

I received a call from this number last night.  No message was left.  I'm originally from the same area code and thought it was from someone I may have known.  Sure glad that this site had some answers!!

Received phone call from this number twice- one today, one yesterday- I'm from Syracuse but now live in MI so the area code alerted me right away. Called it back and all it said was "to be put on our do not call list press 1" I did and it said to allow 24hours.... we shall see.

Call with no message?

i received the call at work, its an upstate NY area code, from ADT, installing windows i believe

Yes, I spoke to a woman on the line and told her that I know that the phone call was coming from Upstate (Central) NY, because I was a native resident from that area, until 9 years. Is this a subsidiary of ACORN or is it a bank, such as the Bank of NY? It just seems odd to me that an outfit such as this would be calling my husband and I, as much as two years after-the-fact.

We moved back in September of 2008, partially due to having experienced a series of unfortunate incidents (including being scammed by both a finance company AND a construction company, both of which turned out to be owned by the same people; a PA class action case we have been informed that we will never receive restitution for). Another reason we had to move? I received a crush injury to my right foot and ankle and therefore, despite the fact that my doctors did prevent having to perform an amputation, I could no longer work. Another reason? Our gas lines were cracked and leaking -- in 5 places. Needless to say, we had no funds to repair them and had just cancelled the insurance we were paying for, from the gas company (Equitable Gas), to save $6 on our monthly bill.

My husband tried everything we could to keep caught up with our mortgage, even though we were paying a second mortgage to the company that scammed us, for jobs that were never finished, because the State Atty. General's office advised us that we had to, for the whole duration of the lawsuit -- even though (as I've already mentioned) we received no restitution, for the $25,000 that they took off with.

I would appreciate it, if no one called us ever again, as we are on the do-not-call list, which I re-enroll all of our phone numbers on (both home and cell), every 6 months.

i never ordered drugs off the net and i got that call from this number about buying drugs... so i believe this is a router number for some call center... and the call center must do all kinds of phone and net marketing ....
