Caller said he was from Bank of America.  Wanting to know the name of other card holders name and date of birth.  Did not believe him.  Hung up.

I got a call from 315-724-4022 on my mobile phone. They left voicemail. It was from Bank of America's ATM/Debit Customer Protection Department, thanking me for advising them of upcoming travel (which we did yesterday) and giving additional numbers to contact while we travel out of country if we need assistance, presumably with charges we will attempt to make while travelling. They left a return number 1-877-833-5617 to call and instructions to ask for a fraud specialist if we didn't initiate this notification or have questions. I think this is legitimate.

Calls from this number are legit. I didn't pick up because I didn't know who it was but after listening to the voicemail, getting an alert by email and my online account I knew that I should call them back. Am a Bank of America Customer and this number seems to be from one of their customer service centers in upstate New York.

This is the fraud dept. for Bank of America. If they call, check out your Bank Account IMMEDIATELY. If you don't believe they're Bank of America, call the Bank yourself - number on the back of your card to verify. They saved my hide today - identity theft. So thankful they called!

They saved ours today also. My sons account was hacked and his card was being used in NY yet he had his card on him and he is in VA. Thank god for boa noticing unusual activity

They just texted asking can we be friends so I blocked 🚫 🙃 the number they did ask a few questions about me.

Lol...guessing it's not BOA as previously mentioned above .....ijs...they just texted and was asking 🙄 questions
