This number calls almost every morning at about 8:30 a.m.

They call every morning

I have been receiving calls from this number everyday,

They call me up to 7x a day before 8am and after 9pm

They call me nearly every morning between 9 and 11, then hang up.

I receive calls every morning, multiple times. When I try to pick most of the time they hang up. Sometimes a live person comes when I say, yes how can I help you, they hang up. Hope they are not using the yes voice to scam.

Says it's a debt of $300.00 and I can pay online at paysimon.com or it gives a number

According to Whois. that site has been up since March of 2015 and is set to expire next March.  They used a privacy service to conceal who they are and where they are located which indicates that these are definitely criminals.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid. 

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I get call from this number I know it's a scam and I never pick up, they don't stop

Who is Simon and why do they call me EVERYDAY?? SEVERAL times a day. No message. I refuse to answer it. Going to block them. I should start calling them all day everyday

Got a call and text from this number. Text asked if they could call me later. I texted back Who is this? No response. Got a call from the number. I do t think ‘Hiya’ picked up on it as a scam but it will be added to my exhaustive list of blocked numbers!
