ID says UNKNOWN NAME

New scam number -  we have the entire 315 area code blocked.
Our phones did not ring when they called.

My husband and I picked up at the same time, he in the shop and me in the office. Foreign man said hello, may I speak to [my husband's first name]? I said HANG UP and my husband did. I said DON'T CALL HERE AGAIN and hung up the phone. I knew by the CID it was going to be one of "them". BLOCKED.

Has called 3 times in the last hour, however, when we pick up, there is dead silence and then they hang up.

NONSENSE FOREIGN CRAP!!! MAKE SURE TO BLOCK KIDDOS!!!

This VoIP number called our business today at 1346 hours.  Caller ID said "Alexandria B NY" so I knew it was an unwanted call.  Some guy with a foreign accent said he was from such-and-such bank, could he speak to the owner?  I blew my emergency whistle into the receiver and hung up.  I'm tired of these scammers/spammers wasting my time with their unwanted, unsolicited calls.  If it was a legitimate bank, why are they calling from an anonymous VoIP phone number?  I don't do business with cold-callers and I sure as heck wouldn't get any "loans" from someone who doesn't have an established landline and properly identifies themselves on the caller ID when they call.

And the morons called again, this time, today at 1454 hours.  A guy was clearly chewing gum as he asked, "Can I speak with the owner?"  I responded, "No, you cannot."  Surprisingly, he accepted that answer, mumbled something like "okay" and disconnected.  Apparently blowing my emergency whistle into the receiver two days ago did not deter these pests.

And they tried, tried again, this time, today at 1646 hours.  And, again, I blew my emergency whistle into the receiver when the guy with the thick accent asked to speak with the "business owner."  That would be a huge "no, you cannot, you persistent pest of a scam artist."

Caller id showed "Unknown". I let it go to the machine, because I never, ever answer these calls. They hung up without leaving a message.

Just told him we don't deal with scamming scumbags -- he hung up (wonder why)

Didn't give them a chance to talk. As soon as I hear the click, I hang up.

Called on Friday -- was trying to sell me on a loan - without a personal guaranty. I told him, I take out a loan the day before I go bankrupt. Additionally, any fees must be taken out of the loan amount - click.

Scam - do not answer. Asked to be removed from their call list and they said that was not possible.

315-948-8282 just called our business. Caller ID stated "Alexandria B NY". Knew it was going to be a scam before we even picked it up. Looked the number up here while it was still ringing, saw the posts, and blocked the number immediately without even bothering to answer it.

Thanks for all of the info folks! They called my business twice, but I never answered, and no message was left. Guess what...... BLOCKED!!!!!
