Calls but never leaves a message.  I'm just going to assume its some stupid telemarketer.

Keep getting a call from this number. We are on the no call list.

Called my friend looking to get them to verify my phone number
When asked who they were they said it was private and Hung up

Called yesterday and today leaving a voice message to call them back so I can be added to their No-Call list. WTF???

They just continue to call and when I called them back there was no company name mentioned on the recording or when the lady picked up. She answered by saying " you are on a recorded line. How may I assist you?" would love to know who this company is and wish they'd leave me alone.

they actually called my husband's number but phone is in my name; I answered it and the woman asked for a Shirley Anderson. I told her she had the wrong number and then she said you're not Shirley Anderson and when I said, no, I'm not, she said okay thank you and hung up.  First one of these type of calls that someone actually said something.  I don't normally answer them but figured I'd see what they wanted.  Our numbers are on a do not call list also so I was going to tell them that I would turn them in if they called again but since I told her I wasn't who she was trying to call, hopefully this one won't call back

First time I got this number calling.  I see it's a collection agency out of Indianapolis Indiana.  I just let the answering machine pick it up - they say nothing - and I erase the call.  Wonderful box, that answering machine !!  They can call all they want ( altho I'm on the no call" list ) .. not taking any of my time.

This is a debt collector..usually for school loans that go delinquent.

Call received from a "Janae" who left a voice message.  Called back to the number 317-322-3607.
Managed to suss out some information from guy who answered the phone.

The company is Premiere Credit http://www.premierecredit.com/ .   This is a debt collection company, so they say.  They will tell you that they are calling on behalf of, former students of, ITT Technical Institute.

What likely happened is the above-referenced debt company bought a whole bunch of old, uncollected debts that were just about to pass (or had just passed) the statue of limitations, usually for pennies on the dollar and are trying to collect that money.   Lots of old and outdated information.  They probably pay their reps some serious premium commissions, so their tactics can be expected to be very aggressive.

They want your social security number.  Don't give it to them.  No real names, none of that.

Another b-s collection company that's actually fishing for SS #'s.  They use a random dialer and always hang up.  Then they just wait for people to call back so they can start collecting information.  If you can block the number, then do it.  If not, then send them directly to voicemail.  Do NOT answer, do NOT call back.  Just ignore them.
