A single ring of the phone, but enough for the caller ID to show the caller's number. Third time this week we had a single ring, but first time a number was caught.

when they only let it ring 1 time , i think they are just checking if the number is still good. , cause when they call me, i save the number , then i block it.  When they realize their calls are not going through , they start using different numbers.  and they let it ring once ,, its a new number i've never seen,  then the next morning they are calling from that number and leave voicemail.   then i take that number save it block it, and then let them start using a new number ,,,  and i know people are thinking ...  " damnnn,  i don't want to save those numbers in my phone,,"    , this is how i do it.      in my contacts , i just name the phone numbers  z1 ,z2,z3,z4 ect ,,,   and they are kept out of the way and at the bottom of my contacts list .   this system works for me , hope it works for you.

This number has constantly been calling my cell. The phone will ring one to two times then hang up. On the one occasion i was able to answer nobody responded to my hello. The calls rang from early morning to very late at night. I am tired of being harassed by this number. Its been four months since the calls have started and they don't seem to be ending anytime soon. I've even tried to block the number to no avail. My cell number is on the no call list and i want the calls to stop.

What are they trying to collect a debt for? This just started after I was in an accident. I keep getting calls from this number and doctors and laywers. Is it just coincidence? Either way, Its driving me nuts.

This number called a number I haven't used in over 15 years and was rude. The person who he reached wouldn't give my name or number out so the guy, Norman, was his name, just told her that "it didn't matter, that he would fine me another way" which I found to be extremely disturbing. When I recieved the message I googled the company, Premier Credit, and sent an email inquiring to the reason they were trying to contact me.

Yeah a similar thing happened to me. They wanted to talk to me about some bill but did not have my correct address. If it was a legitimate company they would know where I live.

about to fly to indiana and woop some...
They call me every day, sometimes 12 times! I told them to remove this phone number from their list, but they keep calling. The next step is to contact the FCC? This needs to stop! If they re a bill collector, then they REALLY do not have any business calling me, because I do not owe anybody anything. Matter of fact, everybody I know actually owes me, but you don't see me trying to call around harassing people!

Got a call from this number asking if I knew a person I had not spoken to in over 10 years. They stated my full name which was changed due to marriage one year ago... So why call me? I kept asking how they got my name and number they stated that it was given to them by that person. I know that person wouldn't have given them my name because that person is not of this earth anymore? I called them a second time and asked if they would take me off the list and if they don't I will file a suit against them. We will see if they try

If you have a smart phone you can download apps from the market like:  CallFilter or Mr.Number. They work just fine and you can set them to drop the call as soon as it tries to ring. I have it on my phone and it works just fine And best of all, they are FREE!!!

I've been having the same problem; they call once and hang up.  They never leave me a message.  Why would I talk to them if they are unable to leave me a short message?  They are calling to collect on student loans.  For some reason, they called my mother's place of business today.  They are a ridiculous company, simply sharks attempting to harass people into paying.

This number keeps calling my son's cell phone.  He's 13 and by no means in debt to anyone!  Any suggestions on what to do other then report them to the FCC and/or block the number?
