- Irritated| 1 replyThese people, "The Lukemia Foundation" call my phone numerous times a day/week. I usually do not answer and they never leave a message. They called this morning at 07:30am...which was the final straw...I called back and got some Barbara's voice mail who is "supposedly" the director. Barbara has a not so nice little message waiting for her.....
- Caller: Lukemia Foundation
- Alain replies to Bill| 2 repliesHow can you stop those calls? Just don't answer the call if you do not recognize the number because once you've answered the phone they know they have a working phone number and will continue to call you endlessly. While it's annoying at first, if you don't answer, they stop calling after a few days. This happens randomly and will be quiet for several months before it starts up again. If it's someone you know, they'll leave a message or you can call them back. Otherwise...if you don't know the number, just don't answer it.

- Edward Maslowskireceive calls from this number frequently enough to be considered harassment. Calls sre received as early as 8:00 am. I am on don't call list. Would like to find on name of the actual soliciting organization (not "Childhood Leukemia") to file a complaint. Organizations that do solicitations for a fee for charitable organizations are NOT EXEMPT and can be fined. If everyone who receives this call would file a complaint this harassment would stop. You are also eligible for a portion of the fine.

- Gforce replies to BillReport the number, the times you've been called, and the frequency of calls to your state's Attorney General's office. Go online and find the reporting procedure. It's fairly straight-forward and, even though it takes a few minutes to do it, your reporting will be added to the pile against this caller. You will receive a letter response from the AG's office for your records. If the offending caller repeats its unsolicited calls, do the same reporting procedure. You should notice a cessation of calls.
- GforceDO NOT ACCEPT ROLE OF VICTIM! If you simply want to complain, but are too lazy to do what it takes, then stop wasting your breath. If you are serious about helping yourself, then perform your duty as a citizen.

- NancyNo message was left on my answering machine. The caller ID said Childhood Leukemia, 317-472-8016. I am on a national & state of Penna. do not call lists. 317 area code is Indiana. More than likely they are a scam and not collecting for leukemia anyway.
Not to mention I am unemployed and with the state of the economy, they have a hell of a nerve call a number on the do not call lists!!!! As of right now, I report them and it is a $20,000 fine. $10,000 for each list I am on.- Caller: Childhood Leukemia
- J in NCIt's a shame that we have to automatically think that "childhood leukemia" showing up on the caller ID is a scam but that's the world we live in. Anyone can rent out commercial office space, buy an auto dialer and a caller ID spoofer from the dirtbag scammer's black market and disguise their "business" number as anything they want. Elderly people fall for it and that's who these wastes of dna prey upon.

- L in Johnson| 1 replyThe first call started on January 3, 2012 at 8:20am on Tuesday and than on Wenesday at 7:32pm.
I am on the no call list so I do not no why I am receiving these calls.- Caller: childhood leukemia
- NoelleThey called my cell phone on 1/3/2012 asking for Mrs. Mullins. That's not me and I don't know anyone named Mullins. They did not identify themselves and I assumed it was a wrong number. (Caller ID on the cell only shows the number, not the name they've registered.)
They've called again this morning, 1/6/2012. I didn't answer and they left no message. Now that they know it's a working number, I expect them to sell/share it with all their fellow scammers.
