Got 2 calls from this number today, 1st call I answered and the man could not speak one good word in English so I hung up.  Few min. later the phone rang again and I didn't answer it.  In the past I've told the Diabetic company to take my phone number off their list.

So here's the funny thing.  About 2 weeks ago, I got a call from somebody offering a free cruise.  You answer 10 questions (benign) and then they tell you you've won a free cruise, give somebody your name and number, and then they give you a code to go to a website and claim your prize.  Knowing this was a farse, I pressed 1 repeatedly, used a false name and a few days later got a call from this number with the Diabetic company looking for the guy with the false name.

My guess is that one of those answers was related to diabetes (and the other I improperly answered was related to a security system [ADT] as I get calls from them as well).

My guess is that anyone getting calls from this number and 317-497-0184 (and other similar numbers 0180, 0181, 0182 etc. have fallen prey to this trap.  They all call looking for Steve Fisher......

Would be nice if the government would do smoething about this.  Probably some loophole in the DNC list since we answered yes to their 10 questions they can telemarket to us.

Thanks for posting the information Michael. I actually fell for the "free Cruise Voucher" as I have been waiting to get them.  I knew it had to be some sort of a gimmick and was expecting to pay for airfare...but now that you mention it- some telemarketers are calling from the number you posted.

From now on.. Steve Fisher is a good name : )

anyone who signs up on a dnc (do not call) list makes me laugh im in the business of calling and well it seems annoying the hell out of people just like yourselves. If you have ever signed up for a national do not call list there is no such thing. There is nothing that can stop me from calling any number i want short of that person disconnecting their phone. Now i do understand how annoying it is to get random calls from a random stranger most likely clear cross the country, often times with sensitive information, I also understand the legal laws of states that do not allow phone solicitations, surveys, or just plain telemarketing. What you as a person who picks up your phone and being a resident of that state needs to understand I am out side of your states jurisdiction and your states law do not apply to me. :) hope this was informational to someone. have a wonderful day

Its great you are clear across the country. And thank you for calling residents at 5 a.m. with no care in the world as to what they may be doing at this time. This is not just annoying random calls which can happen up to 20 times a day, it is harassment. Yeah, i'm sure you understand just how annoying that is. You are a loser. Instead of spending your days harassing people maybe you should reconsider and do something more positive with your life instead of being a huge waste of space. Good luck with that.

I like how when you call back, the line says it is important and that you will be connected shortly. 6 minutes later, I'm disconnected.  The calls all stem from the free cruise.  The first time they called I answered correctly, no diabetis, etc... the next time I answered like I was the biggest loser and open for any scam and then 3 or so companies call me.  I never buy from cold calls and rarely answer unknown numbers (I googled the cruise number so I knew which scam was calling back a 3rd time).

Two different people called my cell phone. I told them not to call and to take my name off their list. They were trying to get me to try a new type glucometer.

The telemarketer who is laughing at you took a wrong turn in life. See while you were out making your life better they can only work a job that their fat ugly slug like appearance won't be a distraction.

Now it's very important that you do exactly as I say. When these pathetic losers call you, remember time is money, the more time of theirs you waste, the less profitable they are. Your job is to keep them on the line as long as possible then when you can go no more laugh in their ear and cream telemarketer rodeo, the one who keeps them on the line the longest wins. (my personal best is 19 minutes and 32 seconds, he was extremely upset which made me laugh even more.

This number calls all the time and no one says a word.  So I jotted the number down and called it back, I got someone on the line who l'll just say was not very articulate.  Anyhow, you are right, it is related to some cruise line, diabetes survey gimmick.  I love the telemarkerter rodeo idea, hilarious! Thanks for all the feedback and good ideas.

Called asking for my mom. Told them she's not in and immediatedly hung up. What caught my attention was that it sounded like he was calling from overseas because everytime I said something, it was like a 1 or 2 second delay and I would hear voice echo. Reminds me of when I used to call home from japan while in the military.

Well, it seems that your people can dish it; but they can't take...After getting call from this number and being told that I (or someone I know) must have filled out a survey online, giving them the right to call me. So I hung up and called them back 100 times, hanging up each time. Man, were they pissed...You see, the same laws that say that you can call any number you want works for me too!!!
